We called Charlie shortly before the holidays with an extended list of things to be fixed around the house. He responded to my call promptly, gave a reasonable estimate and managed to fit us in to his busy schedule. He was on time for our appointment, brought all necessary equipment and was also prepared for some unforseen repairs. He kindly took the time to teach my not-so-handy husband how to fix some things on his own and even repaired some things not on our list. I would definatly recommend Charlie to anyone looking for someone to do a variety of jobs around the house. Thanks Charlie!

If I could rate Charlie more than 10, I would without hesitation. He installed our dishwasher, hooked up the water line on our fridge, installed 50 cabinet handles and all bathroom fixtures.

He did a great job and even gave us advice on all kinds of other things that we asked him about without question. He even gave us some good advice about other things around the house.

He is very reliable and responsive, you can't say this about many other contractors out there.

Had some emergency work to perform right before xmas - called Charlie, he showed within an hour of me calling and was able to fix everything we had asked of him quickly & professionally. Great handyman would definitely recommend . . .

I needed a kitchen cupboard removed. I emailed Charlie late one night - he called back around 9 the next morning. We set up an appointment with a one hour window (between 1 and 2). Charlie called at 1:15 to say he was running a little late but would be here in 20-30 minutes (which still would have been on time). He arrived just before 2 and completed the job quickly and efficiently. I've been looking for a dependable handyman and am happy to now have Charlie's number.

We needed to do a number of tasks from fixing leaking faucet to doors that do not close. Charlie was very attentive to the tasks and he also bought all the required parts himself thus relieving us of all the work. He was professional, took care of the task quickly and did not overcharge us. I will certainly recommend his work if you want a hassle free service.

Charlie was great! My girlfriend originally choose the wrong type of shower rod for our space, but Charlie was so curteous and accomodating in helping us find the right one to work for our shower. He did an excellent job installing the rod and the finished product looks fantastic and works perfectly in our space! Mr. Rescue was one of the only handymen from Homestars that actually returned my calls. Knowledgable and friendly, Charlie went over each repair with attention to detail. We had various repairs around the house (including plumbing work), and Charlie also re-built our front steps and landing. Everything was done within the timeframe he specified. We are very happy with the work that was done. We highly recommend Mr. Rescue for prompt, efficient service. We will keep his number handy for any future repairs.

We needed a handyman to do some repairs around the house. Could never find anyone reliable, or constant. We are now getting ready to put our house on the market to sell and needed the work done. I chose Mr. Rescue based on the reviews he received on this site, and when I called him to book an appointment I was impressed. Charlie followed through with what he told me, called when he said he would, arrived promptly, is very professional and personable. His prices are great. He was extremely helpful in making recommendations in order for us to choose products and the reasons why he made them. Charlie did a great job replacing one of our old inside doors with a new one I had purchased (this included straightening the door frame). He came on time and gave me a couple options to tailor the job to my needs and budget.

The work was completed well and faster than expected. I would definitely recommend Charlie.

Charlie worked quickly and efficiently on our home. Due to the uneven basement floor, the baseboards don't touch the ground at all points-- an issue I wasn't aware of before the work began and wish I had known. Otherwise great work.
