I decided on impulse to replace some switches. I chose Encore Electric based on Homestars reviews and ratings. Chris answered the phone right away and we made plans for the afternoon. He texted me when he was on the way and arrived when he said he would. He did the work quickly and cheerfully. I will call Chris again if I need more electrical work done and am happy to recommend him to others.

The Ikea Man assembler accomplished in one hour what would have taken me many many more. I emailed in the afternoon and had an appointment set for 6 p.m. the same day. I received an email around 6 saying the assembler was running a little late because of traffic - that kind of communication is invaluable to me. The assembler, John, was very polite, worked efficiently and cleaned up after himself. I'm very happy with this service and absolutely recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to take the time to assemble their own Ikea furniture.

I needed a kitchen cupboard removed. I emailed Charlie late one night - he called back around 9 the next morning. We set up an appointment with a one hour window (between 1 and 2). Charlie called at 1:15 to say he was running a little late but would be here in 20-30 minutes (which still would have been on time). He arrived just before 2 and completed the job quickly and efficiently. I've been looking for a dependable handyman and am happy to now have Charlie's number.
