Charlie was fantastic. I have used a few handymen in the past, however, not ones that were rated on this website. I have never been completely satisfied with the work or the customer service. I am often chasing them or encouraging them not to cut corners. I can honestly say, that Charlie exceeded my expectations. He is extremely customer service oriented, professional and thorough. And, in addition to those attributes, he is personable and trustworthy. I have already recommended him to a handful of friends and I am sure they will have the same positive experience I have had. I intend to call him back frequently!

We were very happy with the work that Charlie completed on our basement. He always arrived on time and checked in with us along the way to ensure we were happy with the work. We appreciated the suggestions that he made to keep things within our budget. We were extremely pleased with repairs/renovations he did to our basement washroom and laundry room and would not hesitate to call him again for further work in the future. We have already recommended him to many of our friends.

I called Charlie to help with my mile-long "to-do" list based solely on reviews I had read on Homestar. He not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Charlie is professional, yet personable, capable and helpful as he breezed thru my list even refusing to let me help with any clean-up. Charlie's rates are quite reasonable and his work is guaranteed. I am thrilled to have finally found such a reliable handyman. I have already recommended him to friends and have several items on my new "to-do" list.

Charlie and his apprentice were reliable, honest, and reasonably priced. Him and his crew arrived right on time and cleaned up before they left. He even followed up to ensure that everything was working properly the next day. We are so pleased to have found Charlie, and will certainly keep his number handy for any other work we'll need in the future. We've already recommended him to other family members!

Charlie not only came out on time but he was professional efficent and put in a dishwahser, installed a ceiling fan and left the area even cleaner than it was prior to his arrival. He was polite and very organized and had the job done with no problems. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone that needed the services of a handyman. His prices are very reasonable and he stands behind his work, telling us to call him if there were any problems. Needless to say we didn't have to call!

When our tenants of 9 years recently moved out, the apartment needed to be painted and revitalized. Charlie and his crew came to our rescue. Knowledgeable, skilled, prompt, and courteous Charlie provided excellent service at a reasonable price. We definitely recommend Mr. Rescue.

I had a drain pipe that was overflowing when a big load of laundry was done. Charlie came over cleaned out the P trap, installed a connector from the washer's drain to the house drain to minimize any chance of overflow, he also fixed the dryer's vent and bring it up to code. The previous installer did a bad job putting the venting together, using different size ducts and trying to make it all fit. Charlie was here about an 1.5 hours and solved all the issues. Thanks Charlie! I will be calling again!

The only sign that Charlie was here is my spiffy new sink! He left the areas where he was working absolutely spotless. The installation didn't go as smoothly as we thought it would (Ikea) but Charlie figured out how to solve every problem that came up.
Charlie is very responsive to phone and better, email, my preferred method of communication. I also have a very odd bathroom fan that he will be fixing and going back and forth on suppliers and possible solutions was easy and friendly.
Living alone, I always feel a bit weird about having relatively random tradespeople in, but Charlie is so friendly and professional, I feel totally comfortable with him and would recommend him to anyone.

Wow- we were so impressed with Charlie! He is fantastic and we'll definitely use him again in the future! We left our initial message for charlie and he returned our call within the hour. He then set up a date/time to come to our home and provide a quote. Charlie was on time, extremely friendly, and honest. He then emailed over the itemized quote shortly after that. It was great that he was so responsive over email as well, as he also confirmed via email before he came over to take care of the jobs. Charlie made things so easy, he went to Home Depot for us to pick up the materials that we couldn't fit in our car (i.e. door, 10 foot railing) which was so nice. Charlie was once again on time, did all the work he said he would do perfectly (and found a few other things to take care of for us at no extra charge! So generous!). Charlie's rates were extremely fair (we had about 7-10 items in total). Lastly, Charlie cleaned up as he went along- the house looks great! Thanks Charlie!! The customer service we received from Charlie was outstanding!

Charlie answered my call promptly. He came by on the weekend due to the urgency of the issue and promptly put in a fix to hold us over until we are able to do a complete replacement.
