Water Filtration & Purification review in Toronto

Peter helped us out one night when we very much needed a hot water heater. Although he charged more than average for the job, I think you need to accept this in a profession that frequently works on an emergency basis. He later agreed to change extra piping at no additional cost and did not "milk" the situation for all it was worth. Overall, Peter aims to please his clients and has professional instincts.

Peter is your worst nightmare for a plumber: You are desperate for a plumber because you have no more hot water and you are willing to pay more because changing the heater after hours is important. So you pay $2500 for the job one evening. The next day he phones you and says that the natural gas pipe in the house is not up to code since 4 years and if you don't change it in 24 hours he will call the gas company to turn off the gas to the house. He offers to do this for $600. You ask him if there is now any more risk of an accident with the heater than any time over the last 10 years that you owned the old heater and he says no, but he is still going to get the gas company to turn off your gas. $3100 total. Beware of other reviews!
