Red Flag Security

A customer of Red Flag for several years at my old house, We recently moved, and had Red Flag install my new security system. Team from the office to install were responsive, professional, and had excellent customer service. Very reasonable costs and for a local company, you cannot go wrong. Highly recommend.

We were really impressed by the prompt customer service we were given by Red Flag. Home security was a very important factor when we were moving into our new home and when we heard about Red Flag security system, we gave them a call. Not only did Andrea promptly provide us quotes to suit our requirements, she also accommodated our after work hours schedule to set up the system. On the day of the installation, the Red flag technical expert, John did an amazing job installing the system and gave us very good advice on the overall system. It has been almost a month now and we feel safe thanks to the robust security system in place. Thank you Red Flag for your excellent services!

I've had a great experience with Red Flag Security thus far. Everything I was told over the phone is what I got with no catches or hidden charges or upsells from technicians. As I don't plan on getting a landline in the home I moved into, I chose the WiFi model but they also have a cellular model for an extra $10/mth due to the fees they have to pay for the cellular signal. I paid $175 for my package which compares to over $400 with other companies in Ottawa. I got the wifi communication unit & panel, 3 door/window contacts and 2 motion detectors.The upfront cost combined with the monthly fee of $18/month is still cheaper than almost every security company in the area, even those that provide the system for free with no upfront cost as they'll charge you over $35 month over 3 years but Red Flag Security only works out being ~$22-23/mth with the upfront cost of $175 for the WiFi model of the equipment factored in. I almost went with the Monitoring Centre with their $9.99/mth monitoring fee until I figured the total cost over 3 years for their internet based system would work out being over $30/month... glad I didn't.

Anyway, aside from the being the best value in Ottawa, the service was phenomenal. Not one but TWO technicians came to my home to install the equipment and were professional throughout the whole process.

This weekend we were driving home from the cottage and the front door of our house wasn’t locked so it blew open. The alarm was going off and RedFlag called my cell phone and informed me of everything that was happening. I thought their service was fantastic. They didn’t stop phoning all our contacts until they got a hold of us and I’m really impressed with the way it was handled.

I switched my system over from ADT to RedFlag and they are top notch. When I phone with any questions they are very responsive and there’s never any problem. I have absolutely no complaints and I would recommend them to anybody.

I recently switched security monitoring companies (from ADT) as they could not accommodate changes that I wanted and I felt they were charging too much for their monitoring. I contacted a few companies and RedFlag was one of the first to respond, the most attentive to my needs, and more than competitively priced. The technicians that came to the house were very courteous and knowledgeable. One technician in particular responded above and beyond expectations when he was called upon to repair some of the aged original equipment.

RedFlag installed the whole security system for my business and they the monitor the fire and security alarms. Usually I don’t do reviews but in this case it’s really my pleasure. They are very good, very professional, courteous and if I call them they’re right here. I’m quite pleased and I seriously couldn’t expect any better.

I use RedFlag Security for my restaurant and there’s nothing bad I can say about them. Recently I called because the keypad was in a bad spot for us and they were here quickly to move it. Every time there’s been something I need from them no matter how small it’s absolutely no problem.

I’ve had RedFlag install an alarm system in my home and my business and they’re very good. George, Johnny and everyone I’ve worked with has been professional and I’d recommend them.
