Great service and easy to deal with. Whole roof done in two days even during terrible heatwave. Crew was on site early in the morning, did an awesome job and left the place spotless. Would recommend to anyone.

Turnbull were recommended by a friend and although their price was slightly higher than the other 2 quotes received, they stated all the elements that the job included, used high quality products and would provide a temporary fix due the premature failure of the old shingles installed by a competitor prior to them getting to our job in 8 to 10 weeks. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". They moved up our roofing date, when they came to do the temporary repair, because they felt it might not hold up, but it did until they got to our job. The crew was timely, worked very hard on one of the hottest days of the year, put down tarps to protect our and the next door neighbour's air conditioning units and gardens and were very polite. Even
our neighbours commented on what a great crew they were.

Hired Turnbull roofing last year based on the excellent reviews here and the guy who came to provide a quote. He was extremely thorough in his explanation of what would be done. He also honoured the price for a few months (we got him to quote in the spring and weren't able to have to job done until the fall).

The guys arrived when they said they would and completed the project quickly. They cleaned up (however we did find some nails).

It all started when it was raining, in my daughters bedroom, through her light fixture.

A quick trip to facebook to look for recommendations had a friend recommend a company, but looking at reviews, made me very suspicious.

They were upfront with me in saying they were not going to be the cheapest, nor the most expensive, their value was going to be in their service and commitment.

They came out to look at my roof and were quick to patch it for the short term. They prioritized my roof based on the leak and scheduled a date.

They made it out on the day they promised, got everything done and cleaned up as if they weren't there at all.

Many friends thought the price was great, one friend was sceptical saying "they probably didn't do this or that or the other" and when I read him the amount of things their work covered, he simply said 'wow'.

All the people I dealt with were both professional and friendly, I got the guarantee and all the paper work in good order.

I'm confident that they will back up their product (if anything does occur) in the same professional way they put it in.

I spoke with a few companies and found Turnbull roofing to be most professional and easy to work with. They took their time to help us make the right decisions and ensure we would be happy. All the staff were friendly and polite. Excellent experience!

I researched and received quotes form 4 different roofing companies based on the best rankings on home stars and one was a friend referral. Turnbull was the cheapest from $400-$2,100 and when I researched the type of shingles they use I read that the quality of shingle that they use is very high and preferred by most contractors. Out of all the roofing companies they were the only ones to schedule appointments with me and talk me through the process (warranty insurance etc.). Everyone else was over email or phone. The crew was friendly and the level of service was amazing. the day after the roof was completed one of the mangers (maybe owner) came by the house to inspect the work. He asked me if I was comfortable with heights (which I am) and he showed me a spot that his crew didn't do the best type of work on. He brought a crew member back that day and fixed the potential issue. Overall very satisfied with the decision to use Turnbull and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof.

Turnbull Roofing replaced our 19 year old roof in May, and the task from start to finish was performed in a timely and professional manner. Chris visited the home first, and assessed the roof in its entirety - photos were taken, and the overall condition and work required was documented. He then reviewed the projected work, including vents, flashing, plywood board requirements (if any), metal valleys and also discussed how the yard is to be covered in tarps and how cleanup will be performed during and after. Chris was thorough, knowledgeable and professional, and clearly explained the process and patiently answered any questions. Weather is a constant factor which may change scheduled dates; Turnbull Roofing confirms the date as soon as the weather allows, and keeps the client informed ongoing. They do their best to provide a date that fits in with other work scheduled by the client, such as driveway repaving or window installation.
The actual crew were diligent, courteous and professional, and Turnbull aims to complete a job in one day (residential home). In our case they returned the next morning for one hour to complete a final section.
Tarps covered the perimeter of the yard and flower pots and other deck furniture were moved away from the roofing area. Upon completion all of the moved items were put back and the area surveyed for nails (magnetic sweep). We asked that a metal stack that was rusted, be painted, while the crew was up top, as it would not complement a new roof. To our surprise, they had already planned to do just that, and had brought suitable paint in an appropriate colour!
Trudy the office manager called the next day to arrange a followup with Chris - he collected payment, discussed the job in general and also reviewed the Owens Corning Roofing and Asphalt LLC Limited Warranty. Any client concerns were also addressed.
Turnbull aims to maintain a relationship with the client post roofing day, and, are WSIB certified. The company strives to keep its employees long term, and it shows; the company instills loyalty, work pride and commitment.
