Had our roof installed in 2018. Chose Turnbull based on years in business and reputation. Noticed a leak yesterday. Called today, was informed they are out of business and CD Roofing and Construction has said they will honour the warranty. Fingers crossed.

Turnbull Roofing replaced my shingles in 2012 and 6 times since then, shingles - sometimes complete shingles - have blown off my roof. After the 3rd time I was told by Turnbull that there was a bad batch of shingles and it was not their fault and to file a claim with the shingle manufacturer. The stipulation from the manufacturer is that they require 2 full shingles to do their investigation and the 5th time I lost shingles, there were 2 full ones from the assortment that had blown off and I sent them in. The report came back that the shingles had been improperly installed. In one of the samples I sent, there were only 3 nails that had penetrated the shingle (when 8 is the minimum and 12 is the standard) and they were high nailed (above the acceptable location to secure that shingle and the shingle below it). Turnbull has a 10 year non-prorated guarantee against poor workmanship and even though under warranty it was proven that the shingles on this particular section of the roof were not installed correctly, they refused to make it right. In addition, because the shingles were improperly installed, the 30 year IKO warranty on my 10 year old shingles is now void.

Job was explained, quoted and executed with professionalism. The workers arrived on time, all equipment on site, no delays. Workers were professional and polite. they were meticulous in maintaining cleanliness and I had no damage to my gardens out front of the house. They cleaned up at the end of the day, you would not even know they were there. Experience was excellent amd would highly recommend Turnbull Roofing to anyone needing repairs or a whole roof. Within a week I received my in-person estimate based on satellite images. I was explained the features of a good roof installation and provided with a reasonable estimate. The schedule was explained and possible impact weather on the schedule was explained.

On Roofing day all my garden furniture and my heavy flower pots were moved to safety (and later back of course), windows were covered with wooden boards and drop sheets were laid out.

The work was completed within a day and clean up was thoroughly. The new roof looks flawless!

We would highly recommend this company. The owners and workers are very professional personable and are experts in the business. They put tarps down all around the grounds and cover windows with plywood to ensure no damage. The cleanup was amazing! When they were finished not a hint of debris left behind. Rest assured you will not be disappointed in using this company

Turnbull did an outstanding job installing our new roof. Starting out they came with a drone to provide a free quote and even recommended waiting to replace the roof because it had some life left in it. They communicated very well (I worked with Darryl who is fantastic!). Very professional and patient with all my questions. The crew was quick, polite, and thorough. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic service. They scheduled and showed up on what was probably the hottest day of the year, and still completed the job in the one day. I wouldn't have blamed them if they had to come back. It is true that the job ended up costing more than what was quoted, but I can't blame them. The underlying roof was worse than what was expected, and there was a second layer of shingles that wasn't caught during the quoting phase. However, they were the only company who actually came to the property to complete the quote rather than rely solely on satellite imagery. Most of the other quotes were in the same ball park, so they won me over solely on customer service. If I am still in the service area the next time I need a new roof, or any of the other services provided, I will be returning. Thanks!

I went though Homestars looking for a roofer. I got quotes from a number of companies . The attention to detail and the full explanation of the options for replacement made me very comfortable in approving the quote.

They then arrived when they said they would (one day rain delay) but always kept me informed. The work was done quickly and with no disruption to my family. Their cleanup was fantastic .

Excellent and professional work by sales and work crew. The person arranging the work called in 1 week in advance with all instruction. The crew arrived on time and placed all protection in place. The project was cleaned up and a final visit was inspected by foreman, crew & followed up by sales later whom gave me the warranty package. Note to the singles used were Owens Corning, which allow warranty to be transferable should you sell your home.

We had strong winds that blew a few shingles off my 13 years old roof. Robert came to have a look (no, he didn't need to go up there - he flew a drone!) and then he explained in great detail what needs to be done and why. It was clear from the beginning that Robert and his team know what they are doing. Everything - communication, materials, workmanship - was of high quality. The work was done quickly but with professionalism. The team started at 8 a.m., and they finished just before noon. I thought they are taking a lunch break. Nope, it was all done! The team picked up all debris from both the front yard and the back yard, making everything look like nothing happened there that day. The only giveaway was the roof :)
