We are extremely happy with Tony's work. He and his crew removed a load bearing wall and installed a 27' steel i-beam held up by two steel posts and a new concrete footing in the basement, as specified in the architect's drawings. Tony's work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail is excellent. He seems to really take pride in doing a good job. We were able to contact him easily whenever we needed to. Tony and his crew made it look easy! Very impressive work!

After two ridiculously high quotes I was referred to Tony through an architect. The work was done professionally and at a high caliber. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work that was done at a very fair price. Tony also went to great lengths to help us source other trades. The job was underpinning of a 100+ year old semi-detached inner city home. Tony lowered the basement by 2.5 feet, built a new exterior exit door and poured a concrete stairwell up from the newly lowered basement. The surprise was that the original walls were built with rubble instead of the concrete block shown on our plans.
The job was done perfectly, on time, on budget, and Tony was a pleasure to work with. Several knowledgeable people who have come through since the job was completed have spontaneously commented on the obvious quality. Basement dry, slab perfectly level, party wall dealt with avoiding any problem for us or the neighbour, rubble walls taken in stride even though they clearly complicated the job.

We called him back later to build some steps and are having him back yet again to do some hard landscaping (paver paths etc.) in the garden. Price was competitive, better than some for sure. Worth every penny.

We did a major basement reno - lowering our 1000 sq ft basement 2 1/2 feet. Tony and his team showed up at 7:30 in the morning and worked 10 hour days - they worked EXTREMELY hard and did a fantastic job and in the end, finished ahead of schedule. We've dealt with a lot of contractors and have never, ever, had anyone finish on time let alone ahead of schedule. To repeat, this project was finished AHEAD of schedule!! They were very respectful of our home - it was a messy job and all was clean and put away at the end of the day. He worked really well with our city inspector and our architect. The plumber, Rui, who he recommended was also a great guy and did a great job. It is without hesitation that we recommend Braga Contracting.

As much as I'd like to avoid telling too many people about Tony and keep his excellent service a secret to use only for my projects - that just wouldn't be fair.

Tony and his crew are exceptional. Their concrete work is amazing, and Tony's about the most reliable contractor there is.

If you're lowering a basement, pouring a new foundation, or doing just about anything that requires concrete, Tony is the person you want to call. After using him to lower my basement, I've already got him lined up to do a new foundation at another bungalow we'll be building shortly.

Tony and team were referred by the designer of the plans and did not dissappoint. The work was the demolition of kitchen/living wall and installation of a load bearing beam, post and strengthing of the joists, in additional to a patio door widening to 6'. Tony kept in touch, and completed the work as expected. A minor point by the inspector (and not mentioned in the approved design) was quickly fixed.

Tony's quotes were reasonable. All of his references checked out. He started the project on time and delivered on time. His work passed city of Toronto inspection without a hitch. Extremely helpful in providing other advice surrounding my project. Structural wall removed was in basement, so the project required diligence in making sure the two finished upstairs floors weren't impacted at all. Nothing cracked & nothing moved. Great job Tony!
