Beach Tile No Longer In Business

Peter and Laura at Beach Tile were excellent. Our bathroom reno was not a huge job, however, we had a limited budget and short time frame in which to complete it. From start to finish the materials and labour were provided on time and on budget. Peter is a low-key guy who works hard to get the job done without any complaints. Laura is always just a phone call or email away when ordering or requiring information from the store. HIghly recommended and will use again in future.

Laura and her staff were amazing to work with as we planned our new bathroom and kitchen. Their recommendations, patience and professionalism were greatly appreciated and the results were beyond our expectations!

Everything went well at first. The reno was looking beautiful. The kitchen floor and counter top are beautiful and were completed in a timely manner. Then, Peter was short a tile to finish the bathroom contrast. He promised to return with the tile to finish the job. He did not return. After months of full voice mails, leaving messages without callbacks, Peter arrived and installed the one tile. I did not see his work until after its completion. The new tile is obviously not a match for the rest. The stones are a different size and colour from the others. I am upset that he tried to pass off one that was totally different and never mentioned a word. After dozens of more attempts to reach Laura, I have had no response. I am stuck with an unfinished bathroom with an ungrouted tile and because the tile is so obviously different, it stands out and ruins the look of my new bathroom. Lesson learned here is do not pay the full bill until the job is complete. Certainly not satisfaction here! Customer service is totally lacking. Do not be fooled by the reviews which state everything went smoothly. If they make a mistake, they do not stand by it. A contract means nothing to them. Neither does customer service.

Laura was great. She came in and did measurements for us on a rush basis. The tiles were much better priced than the so called "tile sale' stores and the quality was excellent. Laura arranged for an on time delivery and attended herself to help bring in the materials. Overall this is an excellent store. Dont be put off by comments about the message system being full...its only a sign that a lot of people have discovered a real gem in the Beach. Shopping local is not only the right thing to do, but it really pays dividends,

I DON"T recommend. Orders were overdue &wrong. Phone calls ignored. Despite agreement Tiles delivery left outside my house Message of complaint never answered. Total indifference after sale was made. Shop elsewhere.

From start to finish Beach Tile staff were outstanding. They kept to our timeline, budget and needs checking in on the project at various stages and accommodated our needs when surprises with our old home came up. We would highly recommend Beach Tile, Peter & Laura (and staff) and thank them for their excellent and professional service; their care and a beautiful bathroom!

We wanted our existing shower turned into a steam shower to help us get through the colds and respiratory issues of winter time. Laura worked hard to research solutions that would work for us. The work was done by Peter and people that he contracted. All were very thorough, professional and solution oriented. We are delighted with the job that Beach Tile did in our home, and we highly recommend the use of their services.

I have used Beach Tile for various renos in my older home (built in 1928). The most recent was a complete kitchen reno. The staff at Beach Tile has always been extremely helpful and accommodating. They have always gone above and beyond to see that each job has been done to perfection. They continually kept me up to-date on each stage of the process. The final results make my home look like a model home out of a magazine. I will continue to have Beach Tile do any other renos in the future and I would highly recommend their professional service.
