When we first purchased our home (a 1950s Scarborough bungalow) back in 2001, it was Convertible which we later had install central air-conditioning -- and it has been working flawlessly for going on 18 years. So it made sense to contact them about replacing the oil-furnace (circa 1989) and removing the original steel fuel tank from the basement.
Convertible's was the best quote out of four that received, and by far the one that I felt most knowledgeable ... also the friendliest.
The company was VERY accommodating about our installation scheduling.
The crew was on time, and did an excellent job of removal of the old equipment and installation of the new, finishing up early. Also cleaned up and were very careful not to damage anything in the process. They even made sure that the new equipment and venting, etc. was moved away from the basement cinderblock walls to allow me to stud & insulate (which had not been possible before).
We are now enjoying our new high-efficiency natural-gas furnace. We also replaced the aging hot-water heater with a slightly larger capacity high-efficiency unit.
