Ye Olde Plumber

The service technician overcharged me by 1.25 hours the first time they came. I phoned head office and they checked their records of the GPS movement of their service van and agreed, they repaid me 1 hour only. The second time they replaced the whole unit and again the service person billed for an extra hour after he left. I complained again and they reimbursed me half an hour only! The service technician is over-billing and pockets your money!!! He did not make me sign anything when he left, so if you use this company, make sure you sign the invoice with the TIME written on it before the technician leaves your house!!!!!

Had some issues with plumbing in our condo, the guy was not the best communicator, but seemed to live and breath plumbing - they traced the issue to a building fault, the condo then did what they recommended and me and my neighbours haven't had a problem since. I think you get what you pay for, and these guys are mad geniuses and if you hire them, give them the time, space and money to fix it right - and when they are done you will never need to call them again. That's how good they are.

Had them come in to do some work on a kitchen. Did not receive a bill for 6 months. They had kept my visa on file and charged it without my approval as the billing was incorrect. The plumber did not have all his equipment and had to drive back to the shop. He also kept forgetting items in his truck (3 x 20 minutes per time). Asked to have someone call back about all the issues, but nobody did. They seem very disorganized. Plumbing skills vary too. A second plumber (Simon) was sooo much better than the other one we had. i would really suggest using a different company.

We called Ye Olde Plumber because we were referred to them for warranty work for our 2 year old water heater. They came out fairly quick but the receptionist gave the repairman the wrong part number so he had to go back. Because of this, we were charged the travel time twice even though it was not our fault. Although he fixed our hot water tank, we would not use them again because of the extra charges that they should have eaten instead of charging it to us.

Ye Olde Plumber did an excellent job fixing a toliot pblem I had. They were professional, on time and priced right. I would recommend Ye Olde Plumber to anyone for any plumber services.

bought a older home and the sink in the bathroom needed new pipes, they came in and did the job fast and efficiently. All around a good job, they also replaced a prv on our hot water tank on an emergency overtime call and the price was still decent.

Plumbing problems never give you a heads-up that something nasty is about to happen. It's good to know a plumber that you can call on in an emergency (in my experience, all plumbing problems fall into this category). One time, the condo unit's heating system failed, then the toilet was leaking (previous owner hadn't installed a separate shut off) and another time, one of the radiators was leaking. On all three occasions Ye Olde Plumber responded quickly, worked efficiently and the final bills were reasonable. Would definitely call them again.

Ye Olde Plumbing is an interesting company. They have excellent customer service. The quality of their plumbers varies. The first of their plumbers they sent to me to install some bathroom fixtures was Morris. He completed the work with a fixative I told him not to use because the instructions said it would ruin the finish. He stated he didn't have said fixative and used his regular one. The taps were ruined with uneven discoloration. After I complained to the company they sent out Simon who completed the rest of the installation using the correct fixative and the company did not charge me labour. I have maintained a good relationship with this company because they continue to charge me discounted labour costs for all my plumbing problems--problems not of their own doing, but inherent in this converted building.
