Terrible customer service. Their goal is not on repeat customer, but to prey on unsuspected/new customers. Once you make the purchase, pray that you don't have to go to the store again. Don't ever trust the salesperson, get everything in writing. A bunch of dishonest group.

The sales rep in the Langley store was knowledgeable and personable...was a great help in choosing a table that would suit a smaller space in a condo. Price was better than competitor's.

came into the store to look and bought a sofa set, with ottoman, a brown leather recliner, a bed and 2 end tables, for the bed, along with 2 side tables for the sofa, and an entry table, as well as a dining room table and chairs. Timessa, Tyler, Ed all so helpful and friendly and would keep on returning to this store. Thanks for all your help.

Purchased sofa, loveseat and bedframe. The sofa had no legs at the time of delivery. Delivery guy called it in and informed me that someone will be getting back to me about it within the next 2 weeks. That was fine. Today (day 12) I received a call informing me that I can either go pick up the legs or have them mailed. Wow, I thought I paid for delivery? I chose mail and they only mail out on Wed. So I'll be waiting another 6 days before they mail the legs and then probably another 3-4 for delivery. I'm not impressed.

So we purchased a new couch and dining table from Ashley. Service in store was great, price negotiated etc, overall just what we wanted. We specified we needed delivery on a particular date in the evening. My boyfriend works out of town sporadically and I work shifts at the hospital so we re-iterated evening delivery at purchase. They confirmed this twice, and I received a phone call 2 days before also confirming it. The day before, I then received a text stating 12-3pm delivery. I was on shift so absolutely couldn't be there at that time late notice. My boyfriend had to re-arrange multiple work appointments to accommodate this. Upon contacting the delivery service they were extremely rude, and told us they could arrange the delivery in 5 weeks if we couldn't make the time we were given. Really put a downer on the otherwise good service & we are happy with our furniture.

I purchased a couch and love seat from Ashley's on the west end of Edmonton. The sales experience was great. I was advised that upon delivery to report any issues within 2 days.

I called customer service to report a large tear in the dust cover under the couch along with the fabric bunching on the front of 1 arm on both the love seat and sofa. I scheduled an appointment to have a tech come out and complete the repairs. I left work early to meet the tech. When the tech arrived, he was very abrupt and rude. He asked what needed to be fixed. I pointed out the issues and he started replacing the dust cover. When he was finishing up, I asked if he would be fixing the arms and I was told "that's a lot of work, I just did you a favour". He then proceeded to tell me that the issue with the arms was that the fabric was not pulled tight during manufacturing and fixed the love seat. When he was about to leave I asked if he would be doing the couch and was told "I don't have time for that".

I contacted customer service and scheduled another appointment for what I was told was to complete the repair that wasn't done the first appointment. That day, I left work early again to meet the repair tech. He then proceeded to take pictures and say he was only there to inspect. I immediately called customer service to ask why I was told the appointment was to complete a repair but sent someone to inspect. They then proceeded to tell me that the issue was within manufacturers specs and would not be fixed. After trying to explain what I was previously told and being interrupted numerous times, I asked to speak to the manager who said he would look into it and get back to me.

Today, I got a voicemail from the manager and he requested I call him back. I call back and ask to speak to him and was refused saying that everything is within manufacturers specs and the issue is closed. I asked numerous times to speak with a supervisor and was consistently refused and treated beyond rudely by the CSR. Absolutely deplorable. When asking to speak to the manager, I was asked "why" and I said to talk to them about my experience with their service and my response over and over was "the case is resolved, we won't be doing anything else, there's no reason to speak to someone because the issue is closed".

Long story short, great service in store but you better pray you don't run into a SINGLE issue. The way their customer service speaks and treats customers is disgusting. My staff members would be fired on the spot for treating customers that way. I will be furnishing my new house through someone else. Spend your money elsewhere with a company that actually hires people with good CSR skills and actually honors what their employees tell their customers. To be told something is wrong by someone, have them fix 1/2 the issue and to be told the next appointment is to FINISH the repair, then instead send someone to INSPECT then be told they aren't going to do anything is unacceptable. They don't give crap about their customers.

Terrible service from this company. I will never darken its doorway again. We have been dealing with this company to fix the sofa that had faulty foam seating for 2 months. The technician came to fix it, however overstuffed the sofa to the point it can not be sat in as it causes back pain.
No customer service, customer satisfaction is just a term, not a value.

This place is a nightmare! They sent me the wrong chairs never apologized and charged me 420$ to return the wrong chairs. I advise everyone to avoid this place like the plague!

This has been the worst shopping experience. In store, everyone was great. They happily took my money, but the follow up servicce has been terrible. I do not even know where to begin with this company... Furniture did not arrive on time. It was a week late and I had to wait 4 weeks for it to be made in the first place. Had it been delivery, I guess it would have just been annoying, but it was pick up. So they called us to come and get it, yet when we got there, it was not there. Too bad for me an my hour drive each way... twice. It did not look like what i had purchased in the store. The quality is crap... bunching fabric, huge gaps in the frame, the back of the chair is actually missing part of the foam padding... so the fabric collapses there. It is seriously awful. I paid $1200 for crap, and TERRIBLE customer service at their 1-877 number. I am told it "meets their manufacturer standards", so I guess I am just out all this money. I have tried to talk to a supervisor, but she is "in a meetimg" and keeps forgetting to call me back. DO NOT shop here, unless you like mid priced, crap quality furniture, and terrible customer service.

This is the worst company ever. I purchased a sofa set from Ashley furniture in mid august. I was nine months pregnant at the time and has just gotten an apartment. Prior to the furniture being delivered I had lived in the apartment for two weeks with no issues of bites. A day after the furniture had gotten. Delivered, my husband and I started noticing bites on our bodies. These bites would only appear when we laid on these couches. Due to me having a hard pregnancy and delivering a baby during this time period, I was unable to contact Ashley in regards to the matter. After healing and getting back to my normal self after giving birth, I finally called Ashley to explain my concerns. The company had Abel pest control come to inspect the apartment and they found no signs of infestation. However, my family continued to get bites very much resembling that of bed bug bites. Ashley suggested that I should go and see a doctor and that it may be something coming from internal. If so, I wonder how there has been so many people also getting bitten. Abel pest control suggested a treatment to irradicate the issue for safety purposes. Ashley refused to continue to tackle the issue because of the report they received from Abel pest control. I spent almost $3000 on this furniture and I feel as though I've been slapped in the face from a company I really respected and referred always. Up until this day my family continues to get bites. I'm weary of going to family's house because if it is bed bugs I don't want it to travel. The least Ashley could have done would have been to continue with the treatment to give me, a loyal, customer that satisfaction and peace of mind. I will never purchase anything from this company again. They do not care about their customers and they are only interested in securing your money on a sale.
