London Eco Roof Manufacturing

The roof of my house was a disaster after the wind storm in May 2018. My wife and I didn't want some conventional old roof that wouldn't survive another storm like that one again. So we looked into putting on a steel roof. We were recommended London Eco-Metal Manufacturing by a friend and found out that they have a great reputation and thought they did great work on our friend's house. We called and booked an appointment. They responded quickly and put up the roof quickly, neatly, and professionally. Great customer service as well. I would recommend this company for anyone looking into putting up a really great looking and long-lasting roof.

We looked around for over a year had Robert from London Eco Metal in Ottawa I was surprised they have a factory in Ottawa Robert joked we are the local company with the out of town name. I highly recommended them did what they said they would do.

We requested a number of companies to quote on our roof, and found London Eco to be the most competitive price, edging out Hygrade by a couple of thousand dollars. Initially, Peter the salesman was very quick at getting back to us, and scheduling both a preliminary visit to go over the options and also the 2nd time when we signed on the dotted line to agree to having the work done. Attempts to contact him after the fact were not returned. The roof itself was installed in a timely manner, and the team that did the work appeared competent. After having the roof installed, the skid of leftover roofing material was left in our driveway for quite some time. After a couple of phone calls a few weeks later, it was eventually picked up. I was also promised that my friend who referred us to London Eco would receive his referral cheque, but as of today he has still yet to receive it (our roof was installed in August) despite having been assured it would be sent to him in the mail. Overall I am pleased with the roof so far, and hope that it gives us many years of leak-free performance.

Booked job on the August and sales person guaranteed that the roof would be installed before the end of October. After not hearing from the company I decided to contact them on Oct 22nd. After numerous attempts and messages, I was finally contacted and then told that it will be done by the end of the first week in November. Three days after I received a voice message stating that they would like to begin the job and requested that I call. Tried calling back on numerous attempts and left messages but never received any return calls. A truck showed up at my house unscheduled and dropped off materials on my driveway and roofers began work on the property two days later. Due to the weather, Job was finally completed on November 6th.
A huge skid was left on the driveway I was told by the roofers that the company will be picking it up soon. Called the company on Nov 10th and was told that message would be passed on. Contacted them again on Nov 19th and today Nov 20th and again told that message would be passed on. Still waiting for this skid to be removed..........

The work was scheduled and completed within the prior set out time frame as agreed upon with the sales person. The crew had cleaned up the work area after completion.

My house is located in the downtown Toronto core where the homes are relatively close together, a unique problem with a metal roof is the length the sheets come in,but thanks to their top sales representative Neil Ostrom they were able to have the material delivered and installed. Now I have a great looking metal roof.

The smallest of 3 roof lines needed to be replaced. The costs for more asphalt were not in line with their life expectancy, so we opted to have the entire house covered in metal.

We opted for the blue metal, and it looks great; the neighbours came to visit and are universally impressed. The things we're most pleased about:

1) The metal makes the roof of no concern for our lifetime
2) The installation team and their work was impressive - we have no worries about bad storms or high winds
3) With the old asphalt still in place, in the unlikely event of trouble we still have good coverage to prevent water damage to the house.

We needed a metal roof due to raccoon issues in our area. A salesperson-estimator came over and gave us a quote, which we agreed to. He sounded like an experienced roofer. He guaranteed that no animals can get under the roof they install. The day when the project was about to begin he called us advising that the price goes up by $2000 because the plywood under the shingles needs to be changed. We knew that the roof was old and we believed him, however, he should have warned us earlier, that there is a chance of an increase in cost. One year later I noticed that squirrels found their way under the roof and my son could hear noises in the attic right above his bedroom. We called the company twice, after second call, the estimator called us back saying that he will come over to have a look. 6+ months after we are still waiting for his visit

Saw their trucks around, so got a quote from them, along with another two companies (something I recommend everyone do), and went with them. Their price, as I recall, was comparable. Simple-ish roofing job on ground floor addition, and top of 2 story farmhouse. happy with their quick work, so gave them another chance on an even simpler porch addition and they've gone silent! A few weeks time passed before they did the initial measure, and a few weeks more before the strapping was mostly (but not entirely done); this we were ok with on the installer's comments that the metal would be along in 2 weeks or so. That was over 2 months ago with a claim that the product is back-ordered with NO eta! Are they even in business anymore?! My rep is no help, doesn't return calls and seems unable to thing in terms of customer satisfaction - Similarly multiple calls to their Ottawa office have gone unanswered. Gave 20% down and trying to get it back. Don't they think I might have more business I can refer their way!?

Needed a new roof asap, and chose to go metal for durability and long life. Was told it would be six to eight week wait, was instead only three weeks! Great service and great roof. Highly Recommend.
