Terry Butler was recommended to me and had done a great job for my neighbor as well as
my contractor/carpenter. The 5 year search was over for the right owner and crew to take
on what others had called a very difficult roofing job including the removal of three layers
of shingles. Terry is very honest and amenable in personality yet clearly a "top notch" professional
with many years of experience behind his assessment skills. It quickly became evident that
Terry is committed to doing excellent work and getting to know the needs of his clients.
Any recommendation he made was backed up with sound reasoning and knowledge; for example
in choosing the shingles Terry suggested I consider "architectural" shingles rather than the
standard plain type. Terry pointed out that because my roof line was such that much of the
roof was visible from the street I might appreciate the more attractive look achieved from
architectural shingles. And indeed I have already had compliments from friends on the
improved "curb appeal". Terry provided technical information in a way easy to understand and he
made it clear that he wanted to be sure all my questions were fully answered. If there was a
Total Rating of 1000 rather than 10 I would use it!!! As to the workmen, they were without
exception professional, respectful, quiet and very hard working during a very hot and humid
2 days. Even with three layers being removed not a nail was in sight and the clean up was
excellent! All this and Terry's quote was on target and lower than I was anticipating; no wonder
he is so highly regarded by his previous clients and other professionals like my contractor. I
would say that anyone can rest easy with Terry taking on their roofing project.
