Restore furniture

Follow up:
I did not contact our lawyer in the end, because the Company contacted us and asked us to return our furniture to them so that they could correct all the errors, and we negotiated a refund from the Company. The repairs were completed the second time around, and the furniture was delivered back to us in good condition.

TMC Restoration's ultimate goal is customer satisfaction. Indeed, Michael's order had a longer than anticipated turnaround time which was a result of several combined issues, including some unforeseen issues with their furniture. TMC Restoration advised Michael and his wife as soon as we could of the issues we were experiencing and we met to discuss the best course of action that would suit their needs and not compromise the integrity of their
furniture. At every step of the restoration process, TMC Restoration has been committed to serving their needs, ranging from a new fabric selection when they had bought new carpet that was "too loud" after their initial fabric selection to resolving the workmanship issues as they were identified. Our company is still dedicated to providing Michael with superior service and quality workmanship.

We acknowledge that there are workmanship issues and we wish to work with Michael to resolve these matters, as we are committed to providing quality in everything we do. We have made numerous attempts and offers to Michael and his wife to address the outstanding workmanship concerns, so that they may fully enjoy their furniture in the years to come. To date, our attempts
have been politely declined. Our commitment remains steadfast and we eagerly await their willingness and acceptance of our offer to address the outstanding workmanship concerns. This commitment was in motion, with attempts to schedule a service call, the moment we received notification from Michael that there were issues upon delivery of his furniture.

Restore furniture

The estimator who came to our home assured us that the Company had just had a job taken away from them, so there was an opening, and they could start work on our furniture right away. He promised delivery in 10 to 12 weeks. It took 20 weeks, and after delivery, we noted that the drawer fronts on our buffet were warped, the drawers would not close properly, the seats were falling off the dining chairs, the back panel to the buffet was loose, a slider on one drawer was broken, so the drawer would not stay in place. None of these deficiencies existed before we let them take our furniture away. During the renovation, they broke the glass in one door of the hutch, and replace it with glass which was a different colour. They also broke the hinges on the glass doors, and had to buy new ones locally. We called immediately to complain, and the girl in Customer Service said she would call "tomorrow" with a date when they would pick the furniture up again to correct the issues, That was a week ago. She is now apparently on vacation, and so we cannot get any information until she returns. The litany continues. We are extremely dissatisfied with the Company, and are trying to get our money refunded. Wish us luck. I am contacting our lawyer tomorrow!!
