Firemen Movers

The movers (Daniel, John, and Ahmed) were right on time, very pleasant, and very efficient. When moving items out and loading the truck, they cheerfully carried mattresses down two flights of stairs so that the elevator could be freed up for a time for delivery of medical supplies to an elderly resident of the building. They were careful not to damage items and they placed them exactly where we wanted them at the destination. The customary company gift of Red's Fire Sauce was a nice touch. As a result of our excellent experience, we have been recommending Firemen Movers and will continue to do so.

Although they arrived late, Alex H., Matt & Alex S. quickly did a walk through and then got right to business! They were extremely careful in moving our furniture. We were very impressed with the results when they had to move two freezers and a fridge out of the basement - no damage to the drywall! The guys worked an incredibly long day with no breaks!

If you are in need of a moving company, this is the company you need!! Absolutely, hands down, the best movers I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Right from the beginning with extremely fast response times to any query I had (whether it was a silly question or not!) down to the last interaction in follow-up with them. Doug Harper did the initial estimate for me and it was very evident that his only concern was my happiness and comfort with moving. He provided extremely useful tips and ideas to prepare for moving. There was an immediate sense of ease and relief knowing that we were in good hands. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Did I say amazing? :) Jeremy, Matt and Alex were the crew that came exactly on time with a warm smile immediately upon arriving. Even in the heat, their smiles and demeanor never changed. Constantly friendly, energetic, knowledgeable and engaging. Despite the hot temperatures, it seemed everyone was having fun. Yes - moving was FUN and I'm a person that hates moving with a passion! Not a thing was damaged. Not even a speck of dirt or dust! The guys handled large pieces with ease and skill. Always engaging with my teenage son (14). I should note that we were moving from a home that my son knew all his life to a completely new town quite a distance away where he doesn't know anyone. That combined with starting a new school in the Fall, he obviously had some anxieties of his own about moving. I can't say how priceless our experience with Firemen Movers was. It set such a positive tone on our first step in a new home and a new chapter in our lives that seemed to carry on in the last couple of days with my son. He is eager, excited and STILL talking about how funny and great the movers were. For that - I thank Jeremy, Matt and Alex with all my heart. As a mom, that meant a lot to me. Kailen and Joe were very professional and efficient in helping us move. They took a great deal of care in wrapping our furniture and securing it to the truck so that things wouldn't get damaged. Our move went very smoothly and quickly, thanks to them. We would definitely use Firemen Movers in the future.

Part two of a move, also with Firemen Movers. Great the first time around and great the second. Jesse was in the lead for move #2 along with Marco, Chris and Vytas. Jesse is a born leader. Thoroughly pleased with the service from the first hello to the final goodbye. Nothing but positive things to say! Love your care, precision and kindness. Nothing is a problem, not a scratch or dent anywhere even with lots of stairs and antiques. I can't recommend these guys highly enough!

Looked for a moving company to move furniture to our new cottage. These guys were tremendous! Jamie R. and Ryan H. were helpful, courteous, efficient, very careful and attentive -things we have found very rare in movers…hire these guys!

We hired Firemen Movers to move us from one side of town to the other, and could not have been more impressed with their service. Not only were they completely professional and on time, they were courteous, careful, and had a great sense of humour even when it came to moving our craziest pieces of furniture up three flights of stairs. On top of all of this, they were really kind and sweet with our four year old son, who was thrilled to have real firemen in his new house. Really, really lovely people - they went above and beyond, and were heads and tails above any other moving company we've ever used. Firemen Movers just finished moving me from Scarborough to Orillia. I found Fireman Movers here on Homestar and based on the numerous rave reviews, decided they were the ones to go with - I couldn't possibly be any happier, what an amazing company. Each employee was so professional and hard-working - huge thank you to Lorne who did the quote (pretty much dead on!) to the guys who did the heavy lifting -Kailen, Ahmad, John, Kiefer and Landon. Hiring movers is a scary task but seriously if you are looking, look no further and hire this great team of people. THANK YOU again for making the move so easy at a very fair price.

We had a tremendous crew move us to our new home. The six man crew, made up of Kyle, Jamie, Jesse, James, Lando & John C., worked non stop and put in two long work days with no complaints. The crew was very cheery and made what would normally be a very stressful experience actually enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I recently used Firemen Movers for the third time and would hghly recommend their service. I had four movers and a truck with an estimate of 10 hours for a job which included a three storey townhouse (no elevator) at one end, and a detached home at the other end. The staff arrived on time, looked very professional, and proceeded to work very hard, completing the total job with two hours to spare from the estimate! They were very friendly, careful with my belongings and wrapped everything - no damage to furniture or walls. Excellent work!
