Firemen Movers

We hired Firemen Movers to relocate us from one condo to another. The condo we moved into had a small boutique elevator and external stairs to a separate entrance. We asked for 4 bodies as we had a significant amount of stuff and we thought the move would be difficult. The four crew were Kailen, Adam, Jeremy & Ryan and the were flawless. The wrapped everything and didn't nick any of our custom sprayed door trim or doors. All the furniture came up the stairs and some of it had to go up the neighbours stairs and over a railing. They did an amazing job and we will definitely use them again. We highly recommend them.

My son and I had two weeks to move. Based on reviews on Homestars, I chose them to pack and move us. From Janice in the office, to the men who moved us - Andrew B., Adam C., and Vytas S., - the move was wonderful. They came on time, were gracious and unbelievably hard-working, and all of that in sweltering heat. I will NEVER choose another mover and recommend them without hesitation to everyone. Their rates are upfront, their estimates almost to the minute and their good cheer was a tonic at a stressful time. Don't bother shopping around - they are the real deal!

Our movers - Kailen, Dave & Bismark - were awesome. They arrived on time, loaded and unloaded everything really carefully, and were just really nice guys. This was our first time using professional movers and we were really, really happy with these guys. The hot sauce as a housewarming gift was a nice touch, too. Thanks!

There is nothing short of amazing that can describe what these guys were. From the quoting process to the actual move, there was constant communication and feedback with us that made us feel involved as part of their process.

The quoting process was awesome. Doug took care of that. On the tour of our place, he gave some nifty pointers to make the moving day go faster and provided us with a detailed quote and a pricing that was to be the highest that we could pay. He did advise that if the job was less, they'd charge less. He took the time to answer all our questions and concerns that we had as well.

On the day of the move itself, what can I say? Firstly, they showed up early. Which moving company even does that in this day and age? Jamie, Kailen and Alex first did a quick walk through and laid protective runners across the house to ensure that they didn't cause a mess. They wrapped every piece of furniture and electronics that we had very safely and took care when putting them in the truck. They three of them were a very well oiled machine and you can tell that they enjoyed what they were doing.

At the new place, they even helped mount our TV on the wall and set back up our dining table and offered to help re-assemble our beds for us.

As mentioned above, our job was quoted at 10 hours and took about 4. We were just charged for the 4 hours as promised.

Would I use them again if I had to move? Heck yes. There is no reason for me to look around. Should you use Firemen Movers - there is no reason for you too look elsewhere. What are you waiting on?

Best moving company I have ever used. Highly professional and organized. Gave a very fair quote, showed up early on moving day, shrink wrapped everything including dressers so drawers didnt have to be removed. Had me moved in no time at all and did a fantastic job and placing all boxes in perfect location! Would highly recommend.

Recently completed second move using Firemen Movers. John and Adam were fantastic, absolutely first rate. Cost effective, efficient, professional, friendly. My move was completed in far less time than I had thought. They arrived a few minutes earlier than scheduled (always a bonus!)
The office team were very helpful and quickly responsive to my (many) questions.
All my friends, neighbours, cable installation guy :) have been told how great this company is.

The Firemen Movers were on time and the move was smooth, they treated my belongings as their own with kit gloves, it only took 6 1/2 hours to move a 3 bedroom house, made my day stress free and fun with lots of laughter while they worked. I was moving from a two storey to a bungalow on one of the worst weather days in July. From extreme heat and humidity to a torrential rainstorm and back. I found the three guys from Firemen movers to be professional, courteous and the hardest working guys ever.The move took 10 hours and they worked nonstop the entire time.I was very happy with my move and would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family!

This was the best moving company we have ever used. They were punctual, and the most courteous, conscientious and friendly crew of young men. (Jesse, Adam Jeremy, Alex and James) They worked hard, moving a four bedroom house on a hot summer day. I don't know how they worked that hard in the heat and kept up the amazing spirit. They were diligent and careful, and happy to accommodate us in any way they could. They took quite a bit of stress out of a long moving day. Nothing was damaged. They even offered to help us unload a trailer on our driveway at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
