True North installed new Eaves Trough on our Pickering Ontario home in June, 2015. We were very impressed with 4 specific factors on the services provided to service our home.

John recommended changes in the layout and drainage which worked perfectly. Professional crew and workmanship. Highly recommended.

I first contacted John Whyte of True North, for advice about correcting an ice dam that had formed on the aging gutters surrounding our home. John politely advised me not to try melting the ice, lest the melting and re-freezing cause real damage to the roof. "Wait until spring" he recommended. "We don't repair gutters, but if you need replacements, we'll be happy to discuss those".

The next day I had a quote in my mailbox. John had dropped by and finding we weren't home, visually worked out a quote using the front driveway view and general characteristics of the house. I now had a budget for my replacement option -- no pressure, no obligation.

When what passed for spring in April 2015 arrived, John contacted me again. Based on HomeStars reviews and the material John had earlier provided, I had decided to proceed, and we arranged an installation date.

That day was uneventful -- which is perhaps the best adjective you can hope for with any home renovation project. John's team arrived, checked in with my wife, replaced the gutters in a few hours, and departed, carting every scrap of the old gutters and with no trace of debris left behind.

About a week later, we had our first good rain. How odd it was not to see drips from every corner, and water running out only where it should. While no guarantee can exist against future ice dams, this will be a terrific start. I'm glad we invested in True North's service.

Very pleased with the work John and his team did. John got right back to us about an estimate and did the work with days. Very professional innovative team that were friendly and worked well together. Added an extra length of eaves that were not in the quote for no charge that improved the system .
The job site was left cleaner than when they arrived.

I called the company more than 6 months ago to receive a quote and finally after doing my research (and a 2 year old boy) I decided to get the job done. So I called back and to my surprise they still had my information on file, 10 minutes later my appointment was booked to install new eavestrough.

I was told they would arrive around 8 and be done by 2pm. They showed up at 8am and left a 1:50pm. They guys that showed up were very polite and professional, they were truly experts in their field.

The product itself is very innovative and durable with many colours to choose from. I am very pleased with the end result as well as the total experience.

We were looking to update our old and worn eavestroughs and soffits. John and his crew did an amazing job. They matched our garage doors and gave some useful tips for painting our window trims. The job was done on time and the work area left very clean.
