Foam Comfort Inc.

Foam Comfort has done 3 jobs for me. Foam on the outside of my house in 2008, foam in 2009 in my attic and front wall and air krete for sound proofing on the interior shared wall in 2012. The service in 2008 and 2009 was excellent. The foam worked wonderfully and my heat bill dropped a lot.

However, the service in 2012 was very confused. The quote was inaccurate and so the wrong price was given. I asked for a revised quote and no one gave me one although they did lower the price once they understood the job. Generally, they seemed disorganized which I had never encountered with them before.

But my main issue if the Air Krete. It was sold to me as good for sound proofing my shared semi wall. Unfortunately, it was installed and is totally useless as sound proofing. In fact, the fiber glass batts that used to be in the wall worked better. I looked it up on the internet and found that there is a quite a lot of information saying sound proofing in this way DOES NOT WORK. So I am shocked that I was charged $1450 for sound proofing that does not sound proof at all. I called to report this. They will be coming to discuss the work with me. I hope something can be resolved as I feel that not only did I waste $1450 but now I can't put anything else in the wall because its full of useless Air Krete and now I have to shell out more money and time for a different form of sound proofing.

So in conclusion, this company knows foam and the foam works great. But the Air Krete is not helpful for sound proofing and I do not recommend it at all.
