I was having issues with my hot water intermittently shutting off. It turned out that the mixing valve from my hot water tank needed to be replaced. I reached out to Valentin at Strong Plumbing for help because I had worked with him before.

As I remembered, Valentin was a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with. He replaced the valve quickly with a high-quality part, and also went above and beyond to point out a couple of other issues that may bear checking with my hot water tank. Additionally, he identified potential issues that may arise and gave me a one-year warranty on the repair.

Valentin was very courteous, patient and quick. I can't recommend him enough. It's only been a day since he replaced the clogged, disconnected and cracked drain pipes under our kitchen sink, but it's holding well. Very pleased with his service.

I had a basement toilet leak and was concerned that it was a drainage problem or install issue. Valentine assessed the situation quickly and accurately. Didn’t try to upsell or confuse and was very thorough in his simple explanations by showing me the issue. Then he proceeded to fix the problem quickly and efficiently for a fair price. We added a couple of floor drains in our basement, replaced a corroded drain pipe and reworked some HW and CW connections. Valentin's team were very professional, on time, friendly and tidy. They ensured that the significant amount of dust that was generated when the concrete floor was removed was contained and cleaned up after the work was complete.

Hired Valentin to install drainage for a new kitchen double-sink. We have hired him before and as always he was polite and very professional, showing up exactly on time. Also it was great of him to accommodate us on timing so the period without use of our sink was minimal. He even noted from a picture that our old system didn’t have a vent so he installed and we will have better drainage going forward. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire again or recommend to anyone!

I read the reviews, and Valentin and his team more than lived up to the hype! We had some gurgling in our toilet, and he was there that afternoon. When he discovered roots growing through our pipes in three places, he was able to show us very clearly on his camera and explain what needed to be done. They spent three days at our place, taking pictures and giving details and answering questions along the way. They also put in a new faucet and pipes in our kitchen as a bonus, as it was something we asked him to look at separately. He also recommended a sump pump generator, with an 80% rebate, and set us up for another rebate with the city, providing links and explanations. All in all, they were friendly, clean, organized, knowledgeable and I would most definitely hire them again. They made a huge job seem almost easy, and disrupted our floors as little as possible.
