After not having much luck getting my usual plumber in to perform a handful of plumbing projects, I ventured on to HomeStars and found Val of Strong Plumbing. He had responded within a couple hours and we spoke about the scope of work, and even provided pricing for much of the work over the phone(Main & other interior shut-off valve replacement, garden valves, etc) He was open, honest, and I really had the feeling he was genuine and immediately scheduled him.

Val arrived a week later to perform the works and I gotta say, he was fantastic! I met with him upon arrival to do a quick walk-thru and review the works. With a few of them being a little involved, I was apprehensive about heading to work and not being there to support but he sent progress photos the entire day as he progressed thru the scope.

Val completed the entire scope with great detail and care, plus a few additional items as things surfaced, and did not deviate from the quoted price. I really respect him for his genuine and honest approach to doing business and that clearly shows in his quality of work and care for his customers!

My kitchen sink was draining very slow for a few weeks and times water just sat there for a while. Needed urgent help. Tried Durango de-clogging by liquid and vinegar/baking soda tricks suggested by internet research but no success. Tried to snake the pipe but no vain either. Called Strong Plumbing and a couple hours later, Professional help was there. Very careful, professional and to the point advice. Valentin, explained that the clogging point would be in the basement, but since it was already concealed in the basement walls, so he used his RIDGID cordless 25ft snake all the way, grabbed on to some gunk. He explained that the current double sink piping scheme under the sink wasn't rightly done either but I took the opportunity to correct that as well. The entire work was done in about an hour. He worked very professionally, had his all toolset handy and spare parts to use right there to finish the work and left with a clean work area. Really impressed and would highly recommend and I hope Valentin keeps his reputation high and professional like I experienced. Thank you.

Valentin came to replace part of my drain which was clogged with old roots. The part that needed replacement was under my porch so he had to use the trenchless technology which made the job more complex.

He was great to work with, got all the necessary permits, had two crews on site to make sure that the job would be done in a day and left the site clean. He also fixed a leaky pipe while he was here which was greatly appreciated.
