Equinox helped us with the redesign of our kitchen. Very knowledgeable, detail oriented. I don't usually trust builders, but I would definitely trust these guys with any future renovations. There's no need to call anyone else.

Equinox management assisted me and my wife in thinking of innovative ways to use space in a newly purchased house. Their service was friendly and careful. It was a very helpful conversation.

In my opinion our full basement renovation was not only an extremely stressful experience but also handled very unprofessionally. With that being said I would not recommend Equinox Home Innovations .

I learned about Equinox through a friend of mine who is very conscientious about the environment, recycling, and the amount of toxic materials that can inadvertently end up impacting our environment. If not careful, building and construction companies can create a lot of waste that is harmful through the different chemicals that are used on a job site. Finding out about a company that was committed to environmental sustainability and using recyclable, non-toxic materials as much as possible really attracted me to learn more.

My wife and I first contacted Equinox about basement renovations we wanted to have done about two years ago. We live in an old 1912 character home and the basement was just a dirty old cube of cement. Equinox began restoring the cement and foundation. Then moved on to framing, insulating and flooring. The basement has transformed substantially from when we first purchased the home and my wife and I were happy with the work and the time it took. They also allowed me to assist with some of the work and learn some basic skills and understandings about the work. They were clean while working and used materials that were not harmful to the environment. It may have been a little more than going with another company that is not environmentally conscious but it is a price we were willing to pay since we do not want to have our project negatively impact those around us. The staff and employees were also good at explaining the details of the work and what would be involved throughout the entire project so there were no surprises.

More recently we had some issues with a leaky roof. Because we used Equinox before we wanted to call on their help again. Although this job was much smaller, because of the relationship we built during the first project they were happy to come and help with the roof leak. They responded quickly to our call and fixed the problem right away. We would call on Equinox again in the future.

Equinox helped me build my two bedrooms in my basement. THey did all the drywall, mudding, and taping. They started on time and stuck to their commitments.

Their workers were courteous, professional, and careful. They took the time to set drop sheets and clean up at the end of the day. When they started mudding and taping, they always returned when they said they would. They were careful not to have the dust spread all over the house and furniture. I was very impressed with the detailed work they did and how all the seams are invisible.

Equinox also helped me when I was in a bind. They came with very little notice and helped with the installation of my subfloor after my basement had moisture issues. It was a big help and I appreciate how quickly they came to my aid.

I worked for Equinox Home Innovations for over a year and I look back on that employment with fond memories. I have never worked for a company that was more family oriented and when I was at Equinox I felt at home. I have never worked for better people than Ruben and Curt and I am very thankful to have worked so close with them throughout my time with Equinox. As a company I watched them grow and I was impressed again and again with their ideas, workmanship and relationships that they built with their clients. They really cared about their customers and that was apparent in every job that they did. They can be trusted to do a great job everytime. Day after day they went above and beyond for their customers as well as their employees. I would highly recommend Equinox Home Innovations to anyone.

We had Equinox Home Innovations take on old house and turn it into a beautiful school. They worked with the City and our engineer to facilitate all the appropriate permits - which was no easy task as there were a great number of building codes to work with to facilitate having a school in a house- and most importantly they completed the project on time and within our budget. When we first approached Equinox, we were in a very tight time frame due to waiting for city approval to operate at this location, and Equinox was the ONLY company willing to jump in and work quickly to ensure we would be ready to open in time for school to start! Since then, they have provided us with exceptional support ensuring that our school was in excellent working order. We have had them back to do additional work since the original reno. They were in constant communication with us throughout the entire project to ensure our satisfaction. I would highly recommend their work to anyone who is looking for a professional construction team to come in, and not only provide great workmanship, but also amazing service. I had equinox do a kitchen reno, two bathrooms, flooring, remove structural wall, etc. their integrity, workmanship, and knowledge was the best experience I've ever had. Mike from Equinox was always available for questions, and the crew included a journeyman carpenter and assistant which we were very pleased to see. My son has allergies quite badly so we were also very relieved to know that the products they use right down to the acoustiseal, the paints, and the wood glues were all environmentally friendly and non-toxic.
