DO NOT USE CENTURY MAIDS. They damaged our furniture with their cleaning products and they tried to blame it on us. They refused to refund us the entire cost of the repairs, even though we hired a restorer who told us that the damage was likely caused by an aggressive cleaning agent. We also had witness statements from our regular cleaning lady confirming there was no prior damage to our furniture. The cost of repairs was very modest compared to what we paid for their services (over $800.00). Had they offered to pay it they could have kept a customer. Yet they only offered to pay for half. In the end we walked away because it was not worth the hassle, but please be aware of this company's underhanded practices. I am sure the owner (Alex) will get online to try to defend their position and probably say it was us who caused the damage, but that's simply untrue and he knows it.

In your feedback you state “They damaged our furniture with their cleaning products”. Please confirm which of our cleaning products you allege damaged your counter. As you remember, I came to your home and with your husband present ,we tested all our cleaning products which the crews use and all came out negative. We clean hundreds of houses weekly with the same chemicals and only at your house we “damaged” the counter top?! It seems weird to me. As a gesture of ethical business practice I offered to cover 50% of the repair cost which you accepted without hesitation. If you changed your mind please return the money back. As for the $800 you spent- it was for your house cleaning and carpet shampoo and this work was done perfectly. As per your own confirmation you were happy with the service and results. As for an “aggressive cleaning agent” which was used on your countertop ,you should ask your contractors and your cleaning lady. What was the motive for hiring a house cleaning company if you have a regular cleaning lady?
