We paid for winterizing of our underground sprinkler system. The technician mistakenly left the valves from the main line to the various zones open. When calling to have them fix their mistake, their technician accused me of opening them. They wanted me to pay to winterize it again. And, by the way, the fee for winterizing it a second time would be 78% higher because it's late in the season!
I'll certainly never use this company again.

This customer turned the WATER back ON to their irrigation system AFTER we had winterized the sprinkler system.
The cost to winterize in November involves, untarping our air compressors, reinstalling the battery, hooking up to a vehicle (truck, not service van) that has winter tires, loading the vehicle with tools and equipment, completing equipment inspections for both air compressor and truck, testing lights, then driving to the customers site, then returning, parking air compressors, disconnecting the battery, retarping the compressor. Time is easily 3 to 4 times more then a regular fall blowout and even at the inflated price are not covering our costs.
Documentation specifically explaining that the water valve to the customers irrigation system MUST remain OFF until around May 1st is left on the customers property, which includes on their water shut off valve, the blowout tap and in an envelop left in their door or mailbox. It is also communicated in the email follow up inspection report, the receipt and confirmation reminder email.
Thank you for your past business.
