Lianos Interiors

Effortless ... that's what comes to mind when I think of our Master Bath Renovation. Lianos Interiors was recommended to us by our neighbour who had similar work done. Five minutes into our first meeting we new that we wanted to work with them. They provided us with all kinds of refreshing, new and trendy ideas for our boring old bathroom. The subtrades that worked on our renovation were extremely professional. Things that I appreciated the most about our experience with Lianos Interiors was their professionalism, attention to detail and they left my house extremely clean at the end of each day. As I said in the beginning, this project was completely effortless for us, Lianos Interiors gave us a beautiful Master Bath! Thank you Alex and Sandra for making our experience a good one! Lianos Interiors was recommended to us by one of our neighbours, who had some work done by them. When we contacted Alex, he was very prompt in coming to our house to scope out the project. Prior to this we had other contractors over to provide us with quotes. When Alex came, he proved to very pleasant and quite knowlegeable regarding renovations in general and made several good suggestions on how to achieve the final product we had in mind. We also gave him a budget we had in mind. Shortly thereafter, Alex provided us with a quote for the work, which was within our budget and lower than most of the other contractors who had submitted a quote to us.

Once we gave him approval for the project, Alex was personally involved in the project from beginning to end. Actually, he personally did many of the tasks, or at least assisted in their completion. He was always available to talk to or ask questions.He also accompanied us to stores to help us choose tiles, counter tops, paint, etc. The timeframe for completion of the project was well within his projected estimate as was the cost, even though he ended up doing a few extras.

Overall, we found Alex and his team to be professional, reliable and respectful of our wishes and expectations and did their utmost to try and please us. As a result, we have spoken to Alex about reovating our kitchen in the near future. We have also recommended them to one of our neighbours who is planning to do a major addition to their house and I understand that they have already been in contact.

Until we met Alex and Sandra, everyone else we met with had no ideas of their own. They either drew plans up that exactly mirrored what we had said, or just quoted a price without providing plans at all. We were so happy to come across someone that would listen to our tastes and what we wanted to accomplish with the space, and then make suggestions of their own and work with us to try to manage it all within our budget.

Alex and Sandra met with us several times and drew up multiple versions of possible plans over a period of several weeks until we settled on a basic design. Alex was a pleasure to work with and patiently addressed every one of our concerns and questions throughout the process. We especially enjoyed the time we watched Alex and Sandra argue on th merits of different paint colors that we couldn't tell apart!

While we were nervous about how things were going to turn out in the beginning, my mind was put at ease when I returned home one day and had a conversation with one of the subcontractors in which he shared that he and Alex had just completed a two hour discussion on how the heating ducts needed to be run so that they would not compromise the original design.

Even when things didn't go exactly as planned, Alex would make things right in the end - he even absorbed the cost of replacing siding on one side of our house when one of his subcontractors did not save enough material to complete the job. On top of that, he returned months after the job was completed and spent a full day working to correct a problem that was rooted in problems from an earlier renovation and poor design of the original house, but brought to light by the renovation.

We couldn't be happier with the end result.

We hired Lianos Interiors last year to remodel the main floor and basement of our house. We got their names from 2 other houses on a nearby street who both had nothing but good things to say about them.
We had just purchased a home built in the 50's in a great location but did need some TLC.
We talked to Alex for a consultation on the house to see what he might see as potential for it.
My wife and I saw some potential for our house but couldn't even imagine what could be possible until talking to Alex.
He gave us many ideas to mull over and drew up some sketches for us. We were very nervous about the process as we had never done anything like this before but he reassured us that he would guide us through all our concerns.
Renovating is always a struggle and for people that lack patience and tolerance, it could be very challenging; however Alex was ALWAYS there to address all our concerns.
We were surprised at how calm and composed he was throughout the whole process. Even when there was rubble and dust everywhere and we were certain we made a huge mistake, he always reassured us how great it would be in the end.
We were very pleased with his crew as well; always helpful and considerate.
At the end of the process, we were so happy with everything especially the kitchen and bathroom which we get nothing but compliments on. The people who referred him to us saw the before and after and were completely shocked at the results.
The service provided was completely exceptional from the layout and drawings to the cleanup.

It has been over 2 years since the completion of our renovations and wanted to take this opportunity to say that we are NOW very happy with the quality of the workmanship. At first, we weren't pleased and our initial review reflected how we felt BUT as time passed and the memories faded, we can honestly say that we are extremely pleased with Alex's work. There were certainly hiccups along the way but fair to say this will happen with every renovation! We've been living in our home now for 2 1/2 years and we have only witnessed a strong and well built product and that pleases us a great deal. Not a single nail pop or peeling paint, just to give you an example! Having said that, Alex and Lianos Interiors proved worthy and honest and we'd certainly reccomend him and his company to anyone looking for a GREAT contractor! It took a long time but we finally realized that we did hire the right person and the right company to do the work...congratulations Alex for turning us around and making us see that you are one of the good ones!
