Eastforest is the worst builder in the world. As soon as your house is close they don’t care about you or any challenges you have.
I bought a house In Huron Village and I am still fighting with them to fix items that is on my pre-delivery inspection. Poor workmanship from top to bottom. Uneven cupboard doors, latch missing from windows, gaps in flooring, crack tiles, leaking bathroom, cheap bathroom accessories that are constantly falling off, pot lights not flush to the ceiling and looks like they are falling out, holes in the walls, pickets separated from railing, cracks in the foundation on both side of the house, house is poorly grouted, caulking outside of the house is either not complete or separating, poor paint job, lifting carpets, crack in concrete on porch from one end to the other and many, many more challenges.
During in time I am trying to fix these issues all I get is run around or the customer service rep that is assign to me does not return repeated phone calls or when I do get her on the phone she is not very helpful.
Since buying this house I have looked at other homes build for buy other builder in the area and the different in quality is undeniable. For the money, they are asking they should be ashamed of themselves for the quality of the homes. My advice to anyone looking to buy a home is do not buy from this builder.

It was our first home to build with eastforest. The whole process of the project was overwhelming (as I am sure it was for their staff as well), but as long as you keep track of what you added on your wish list, communicate clearly on pending work or work done incorrectly, the staff are willing to set time aside go over it with you correct it if it is their oversight or clear any confusions. While they may be extremely busy with finishing off new homes or working on issues on other higher priority list, you are not left at their lowest priority. You have to understand the whole process of what it all takes for every team and be patient enough and understanding. You'll find errors, some jobs are rushed through to be able to meet other deadlines, other jobs may have been left half done possibly because their works quit, as result workmanship errors may occur as there seem to be little time for them to do a quality check on every finished part of the project. You as the owner will act as the final eyes to bring forth issues that may have been overlooked or done poorly but rest assured they will take care of you in a timely fashion. I have nothing but great experience with all staff some names to mention...Jim, Lisa from site management are wonderful and most helpful, Chris and Richard are great as well as the workers, Angela and her boss Amanda are super helpful when you need to escalate matters or you need to bring up things to them that were not caught on your 30 day report; Heather from design side can be very helpful in helping you chose right collection of items when it comes to upgrades, just ensure you keep track of your items as there may be things missed from a verbal communication to make it into a formal document and you may end up with surprises you want to avoid. Over-all, I am happy with eastforest/activa homes and will recommend them only to those who will have a goal to understand the whole process and stress level that comes with the experience while keeping good communication and track and following up.

By far the worst builder in the world as soon as they get your money your own your own.

Poor workmanship they should reconsidered building homes in the future for lack or any skill.

The horrible house I purchased does not have any straight walls, the drywall is either pushing in or going out and looks horrible, supplied me with used/damaged granite, cannot grout properly pin holes everywhere, poorly connected plumbing which resulted in more damage to the house. I am afraid to live in this house.

Once horrible house was purchased they start with extreme run around. This should be considered fraud or illegal as the got paid and now they are running away. They look for an excuse not to fix issues "we have a closing" or "something happened" or "this is normal".

Due to the horrible house I've had to move out my family to ensure there safety as I am not sure what next might happen.

You should run as fast as you can from this builder.

None of the mangers or employees care about you they only want your money. They will do anything and everything to make your life horrible.

We are very happy with our Eastforest home in Paris. The sales staff, design centre, site supervisor and everyone we have had contact with has been very friendly and helpful. Our house was ready right on time. I would definitely recommend building with Eastforest Homes.

My advise if you are welling to buy your dream house find another build. I had multiple issues in my place (Huron Village) and the builder didn't fix most of them. After closing date they didn't fix most of the issues I've reported EVERY TIME the use different excuse such as that how it is in the design map or not covered in Tarrion warranty.

At closing date they convinced me that all the issues I noticed will be fixed during 30-days or One year tarrion but only few issues were fixed. On the other side, the site manager was friendly and he tried to help us as much as he can but as I said the customer service was below expectation.

save yourself a headache......don't even think about Eastforest....unprofessional bunch of people who don't say a truth....it's been a year, never signed off PDI....got promised for reconciliation inspection.....nothing done in a year....they haven't answers or returned my calls for 7 months

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
They are very unprofessional.
If you want to do upgrades, they will charge you fir them and "by mistake" they won't do it and they will tell you to do the closing and after they will fix the problem. And then, let the stress behgin!
Don't build with them or don't do upgrades! They take advantage of people!

Warning! I would not build with this builder.

My original move in date was Dec. 2014 and although I have taken occupancy in Jan. I still have not been able to take ownership and it's June 2015! Of course they are collecting rent from me even though my house is still incomplete.

To top it off the admin. staff as well as their warranty staff is the most disorganized staff and has made error after error.

Thought I'll share my story.
Moved in about 6 months ago, couldn't be happier with the service and my home. Sales people were quite pleasant to deal with, no pressure and had all answers I needed. the Gallery they have is amazing! Totally impressed! the selections were smooth and the choices are unreal. then the building started.
I must have drove past my future home, like every day LoL.
Construction was a bit slower due to all the snow and cold weather we had, but they kept me updated throughout, nice touch by the way. Some small issues hin and there, but they're true professionals and answered all my questions. Now I'm all moved in and love it. Keep up the good work Eastforest

Please do yourself a favour, do NOT buy from this builder. issues from the moment they poured foundation to 8 months after we`ve been living here. where to start?? site supervisor is useless and has no authority to do anything. everything is constantly on "back order" meaning not ordered yet. house was barely completed on possession, had to postpone closing. pot lights in kitchen / living room leaking 8 months after they are finally tearing down my ceilings and they are expecting us to still use the kitchen with this going on IN OUR KITCHEN!! no compensation let alone an apology for the inconvenience and fault on there end! they have the stairway blocked off with tarps and I can still see and taste the dust coming up and into mine and my children's bed rooms.
if anyone has built the same home "logan / Chandler " check your pot lights they maybe leaking. same house same court has same problem.
DISGUSTED with this builder and lack of care / concern for there buyers. take the money and run kind of attitude.
