We weren't happy with the windows and doors that came with the 25 year old house we bought earlier this year. They were rotted and had moisture coming through them almost all the time. We knew when we bought it the first thing to update were the windows.
So we visited window and door manufacturers showrooms every Friday for a month. Somewhere along the line we met with a sales rep at Fibertec. We liked the people we met at Fibertec and felt like they helped us learn a lot about windows in general. After, we consulted some industry websites and found their product came highly recommended from some experts in green building.
Their windows and doors get used in a lot of net zero energy and passive homes so we knew they were good enough for ours. We had them installed a few months ago and have been thrilled with how they look, and their performance has been really impressive. When it's hot and the sun is out we don't feel heat blazing through the windows on the south side and it's made some rooms far more comfortable to be in.
Overall we're very happy with our choice - Fibertec has been great, and I'm comfortable if I need them for anything they'll take care of me.
