Oasis Bathrooms

Dave took control of the bathroom from start to finish. Given it was the main bathroom timelines were super tight. We were planning to be away in Vancouver for 4 days and Dave stepped in , did the design and build ...and finished the bathroom in time for us returning from the trip. With any reno he found a bit more work than expected when he pulled the floor tiles and replaced the sub floor and tiles in the shower but that did not slow him down. The job was done for when we got home and we love it !!!
Keep in mind this was a not a typical timeline , i am told he usually likes to work with a bit more time ....

In Spring 2012, Dave and Jason renovated our main floor including the powder room and laundry room. They installed hardwood flooring, tiles, new ceilings, walls, pot lights, plumbing, insulation, doors, cabinetry, baseboard, crown moulding, and more.

With Dave’s expertise in designing a computerized layout of the kitchen, we were able to plan and discuss this renovation easily. Dave explained different layouts, styles, products, fixtures, and accessories; as well as, how to choose quality products for the cabinetries, countertops, tiles etc. He also suggested where we could find reputable suppliers and took the time to bring us to some of them. The kitchen looks amazing and is very functional. We wouldn’t change any of it. It is a pleasure to cook in.

The main floor was partially gutted. It was an eye opener to see how the house was built and how poorly some sections were done. Each time an issue arose, Dave explained how it would be corrected. He never closed a section if it didn’t meet the codes and his personal standards. He is detail oriented and a perfectionist. It is very difficult to find someone like Dave that excels at all the trades he provides. This made this project easier to handle.
Dave and Jason are professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy and got the job done right the first time. They made sure that we were never inconvenienced by the renovation and the place was always clean by the end of day. Our questions and suggestions were always put into consideration and answered. We always felt included in the renovation process.

When people come and visit, we hear high praise on the workmanship and how amazing everything looks. We never had any issues with their work.
We highly recommend them and definitely will use them in the future.

David did do an amazing job with renovating our kitchen. We were so pleased we asked him back to complete some tiling for us. But on the last day with very little work left to do, Dave asked me to pay him and he would return on Monday to complete. We are still waiting 4 years later. He ignored all my husband's attempts to contact him. Feel very used as we trusted this man. Shame on you Dave.

David renovated our main bathroom, powder room, kitchen and completely transformed our empty basement,including building a full bathroom from scratch, into a beautiful living/entertaining space. His work ethic and ability shows so well in our house. Not one nail pop or issue with the work since he completed the reno. David was always professional, courteous and the house was always clean during this large reno. When guests come over they still compliment us on his work! We were thrilled with the work and look forward to using him again in the future. We would highly recommend David.

Oasis Bathrooms, Dave Kurnell did an amazing job and went out of his way to ensure we were not inconvenienced. The challenge was that this was the only 4 piece bathroom and we were only without a tub and water for a day. Dave is a perfectionist and as he saw things that needed doing, this was done automatically and to my surprise no additional charge.
Dave has become a household name here coming and doing many more projects of varying size working in the Kitchen and Family room. I would highly recommend Oasis Bathroom for your next renovation project.

Moved into house and prior owners had the master ensuite renovated by Oasis. It was less than 4 months old when we moved in and Bathroom shower leaked into main floor. Called to have it repaired and Dave visited to fix leaky drain. Continued to have leak to main floor and also had small leaks through glass door and mold started growing behind tile. We called many time without response and finally got through and were told that they do not guarantee work because we where new homeowners. No resolution Very unhappy!!!!!!!!!
Now we have to have shower area completly removed and mold removed andrebuilt.

Delay: the project delay was counted by months. Oasis do not care about their customer. When we signed contract, I was told it took about 7-10 days to finish a bathroom. After we paid 90% to Oasis, we were told do not complain because 3-6 months postpone was normal.
Trick:Be careful, Oasis always play game with their customers. If you do not put a time line in the contract, they can hold your project as long as they wish. The contract was very simple. They gave you lots of verbal commitments then they told you these items were not in contract.
Quality: Lots of problems. Soft close drawers of cabinet were wrong. Cabinet size was wrong. Tile was not leveled.
Communication with customer: Extremely unprofessional. Say F words when customer refused to pay the undone jobs....took away all the uninstalled material....nightmare...
