Kempenfelt Windows & Doors - Barrie

I am very disappointed with Kempenfelt. I spent several thousand dollars investing in my double entry doors with this company, Kempenfelt Windows and Doors - Barrie location. It took several months to get it installed which was ok as this was expected. However, things went downhill from the installation.The installers left the floor dirty and damaged my interior walls. I had to contact the office to get the walls repaired. The installation was done during the winter and I had to call them several times to make repairs due to the cold air that was coming in through the front door. The next thing that needed constant repair was the door handles. The door handle is now close to the point of falling off - keep in mind that there are no kids in my home and this door is not used daily. After calling and leaving a message, they called me back on Wednesday and told me that someone will call me to set up an appointment to get it fixed. I still have not received a call to set up an appointment. In the mean time we are unable to use our front door for fear of the handle falling off. I truly regret doing business with them and I would advise you not to do so.

They were on time and friendly and cleaned up after they finished their work, and went over the operation of the windows

We had all the windows replaced on the main floor of our bungalow and the service has been superb from the salesman right up to and including installation. The installation team of JP, Kris and Javier were punctual, knowledgeable and capable. They worked ( in very cold temperatures) like a well oiled machine. And the windows are beautiful. We couldnt ask for a better job!

Almost 10 years we bought windows and doors and when one window failed recently, it was replaced no charge. Great company, great service. Jeff-Thornhill

Eric our salesperson was fantastic. He worked around our schedule to give us a quote. He listened to our concerns and got us just what we needed. All the Kempenfelt Windows and Door associates were polite and efficient.
Both of our installers Daniel & Pat were awesome. Down to earth and made the installation enjoyable. They explained everything and made sure we were happy with our purchase.

We had two rather large casement windows and a similarly large awning window installed by Kempenfelt Windows & Doors last week, the two casement windows in the bedroom and the awning window in the kitchen. Everyone, without exception, from Stephanie in the office, to Scott in Marketing, to Cory, Andrew and Josh who installed them, everyone was professional, personable, highly skilled and accommodating.

Our house is over 40 years old with wooden windows that were out of alignment on rotting sills, and I had my doubts about whether any company could replace them. Moreover, the bedroom windows overlooked a sloping metal roof to stand on while lifting the heavy windows into place. The kitchen window was in an awkward location, adding additional challenges while working on a ladder.

Nevertheless, Cory, Andrew and Josh were never fazed as they worked through each challenge, keeping us up to date at all times, until the windows were beautifully installed. We've never been happier with any other windows or any other installation.

We chose Kempenfelt on the recommendation of a friend, and we're carrying on the tradition. And we'll be leaving the Kempenfelt sign up at the end of our driveway for some time to come.

It's great to have a team of two installers (Borin & Alex) who work so professionally in completing the install of our new door and window. They obviously seemed to enjoy working together and the end results is a beautiful front entrance to be proud of. A shout out to Paul Howson our sales rep. who actually followed up both before the door was installed and on the day of the installation.

The team of Jessie, Dave and Tyler replaced my patio doors and one window and they did an exceptional job. They were very courteous, friendly, informative, knowledgeable and completed the job in quick time. They cleaned up their work area impeccably and provided me with detailed information regarding their product. They were also very responsive to any questions that we had. Salesman, Brent was also very helpful and knowledgeable providing me with honest information about their product. Great job guys.

I had a Kempenfelt team here yesterday to install 5 windows, a patio door and a front door. I have never had better service from anyone. Their products are innovative and of the highest quality. And the team of Jesse, Dave and Tyler were committed to the very best quality of service. It was wonderful to have a contractor team arrive when they said they would, answer any question, demonstrate their product operation, and go the extra mile to install the front door in a way that increased safety for my wife, who has mobility problems. From great advice from sales person Scott, to a complete installation in one day -- as promised, this was a refreshing and completely wonderful experience!
