I had done over $30,000 in business with this company over the a couple of years ago on an expensive slab project for my master bathroom and entrance foyer and on marble and glass tiles for three bathrooms. Last November, I ordered an onyx hearth for my fireplace from them. I had to place the order through a different sales consultant because I was informed that the sales consultant I had used earlier had left the company. When it came time to install the slab, their installers broke the slab. It hadn't fit precisely into the cut-out in the hardwood floor for the slab it even though their consultants had measured the cut-out twice and made templates. When the installers discovered it didn't fit, I had offered to have my floor guy adjust the cut-out instead because I was afraid the slab would break if they tried to cut it on site. They declined my offer however, saying they wouldn't wait the hour it would take to get the floor guy there, and then went and broke it while trimming it outside. I then tried to get a replacement slab installed for six months, to no avail. It took two months after the slab broke just to get the sales consultant to give me an appointment to come in and select and mark a replacement slab. After that I tried numerous times to contact the guy to have their people come and install it. I got no response at all to my many emails and phone messages!! I was treated this way even though I had paid them in full when I first hired them to do the job many months earlier. Finally I went to the showroom in a surprise visit because I was completely fed up. The sales guy was there and admitted that they hadn't even gotten around to cutting the replacement slab, six months after the first one broke. He suddenly offered have the replacement slab installed the following week. He had no explanation as to why he had never responded to any of my emails over the previous four months and now was suddenly on task. He just said they had been really busy (!!). I asked for a refund of what I had paid in full and he said he was not authorized to do that because the only person authorized to do so wasn't in that day. Just then the owner walked by. He agreed that the situation was unacceptable and that I could have a full refund. He didn't seem especially keen to do anything about what had happened over the previous six months other than shrug his shoulders. He then went on his way to talk to someone else. At this point, I wasn't going to trust these people with my money any longer than I already had, so I said to the consultant he could refund my money and if his people showed up the following week with the slab and installed it, he could get his payment back then. He said it didn't work that way. I said fine, have it your way, just give me the refund and you won't get the chance to complete the work. Since they were for whatever reason not willing to process a refund on the same credit card that I used for payment I obtained a refund cheque from them before I left and then went to the bank and certified the cheque. I later sent the owner an email detailing my experience but did not receive the courtesy of any reply. I tried to let him make it right but was ignored. If you don't want what happened to me to happen to you, I suggest you avoid this place at all costs. You've been warned.

I was so disappointed with the service. My newly installed marble countertop was damaged on installation but the company insisted that I must have done this. The fact that there were no appliances, water hookup or anybody using the kitchen and that we phoned the next morning to report the damage after installation was completed at 5 pm seemed to matter not. Nobody has any idea what caused the damage (it looks like a badly cleaned piece under the finish) and then they suggested they would repair it for an additional $500. To add insult to injury they also charged me extra using my visa card from the original purchase to assess the damage. Avoid these folks if you can- I wish there were more ways to warn other consumers.

After being promised that they could deliver what we wanted in a counter
top and that this was the correct material, we decided to place the order with
them even though their prices were higher. Needless to say upon delivery
there were some imperfections however one was a chip that was filled but
still showed. They offered to cover it with another piece of the material but
that is not what we wanted. I suggested a price adjustment.
I called the salesman many times without a response. When I finally did get a
response he said that the counter turned out better that they expected and
that they were not willing to make any adjustment. They tell you, what ever
they have to,to get your money and then think that you should be happy with
what ever you get. We did not get the quality that we were promised.

When I renovated my kitchen, I did extensive research on getting the granite countertops of my choice. I finally decided to place my order with this company as they had the widest selection and extremely good service. They advised me on different products and the granite countertop, its installation and finishing was of top quality. One of the workers encountered a problem and did not do as I had requested. I called the company back and one of the owners came in to look at the problem and told me that they would be happy to fix our problem. It was a pleasure to do business with such a company with good ethics and customer service.

I am very pleased with the service by this company. We went there and picked
out the top on a Sunday and on the following Tuesday they arrived to do the
measurements. It would have been ready to install within the week but due
to the timing of receiving the taps from another company we had to wait.
When I called to say taps had arrived they called right back and I have an
appointment for installation in 2 days.
Wish all companies would give this type of service.

Went in a few months ago - they do have a great selection - however hard to find sales assistance (disinterested unless you're a 'somebody') found an item, got a price on it per sq.ft. Did the deposit. Came back few months later looking for additional to finish the job. Now I'm told I can't get a price per sq.ft! Now I can only get a price for the materials and finishing - well ok so yes I sign off on the quote since they had what I wanted. I went in a few days ago to recheck the product to make sure they are the same - now I'm told the price is higher than the quote. They claim it's a different product - ok so how much higher I say - was $5576 NOW $8420. And now I'm stuck since they have my deposit. Left a message for the manager - who I am sure does not care but oh well. So a word of warning, while they have a great selection, be careful about getting a firm price in writing before you pay your deposit. The only person who was terrific was Russell in the warehouse.
