After 25 years the front door dead bolt we had originally purchased from the Baldwin location was beginning to be tricky -- sometimes refusing to turn with the key. We arranged a service call to replace the original dead bolt. The technician arrived, took the original apart, said we'd be better off keeping it than installing a new one, cleaned it, replaced the pins, oiled and cleaned the interior, re-adjusted the door hinges so it didn't scrape and BINGO! the lock works like new.

These guys are awesome. They are professional, friendly, take the time answer questions and do not try to up-sell you. These guys are the real professional locksmiths and I would buy from their store or use their services again.

the front desk was very nice and helpful when i was describing the type of lock i had. i tried to get it fix at first so they sent a person here to remove the lock and sent it back to the store to get fixed. they brought the lock back and it still didnt work so i ended up ordering a new one.

the only bad thing was that the lock installer did not have a part for the lock in his truck and he ended up having to go back to the shop to get the part. the bill ended up including the time he left to go back to the store.

I bought a high-security padlock from these
people several years ago and I'm very satisfied
with my purchase.

Finding Abloy locks in Toronto is a challenge and
the $60 for this padlock is a great investment for
my apartment building's locker room.

Most of the other tenants use those inexpensive
$3 - 5 locks from convenience stores but I wouldn't
trust them one bit. My Abloy's security rating is
such that it can be used in such secure places as
an electrical substation or other high security
environment because the two keys supplied
cannot be copied by any hardware store. Only
an Abloy dealer can do that and one needs to bring
in the original registration card as well.

The staff were very helpful and showed me the
value for money and I don't regret the purchase.
