Joe The Mover

On the phone, I enquired about cancellation fees: if I had cancelled at least one week before the booking, no fee was applied. I cancelled 10 ten days before the scheduled date, and my CC has been charged 100$!! Gets 0 for poor customer service.

The guys that came to do the move were really great and efficient but the price I was quoted was wayyy off. They even had a hard time justifying their hours to me. They demanded more money than quoted and threatened to put a lean on my house if I didn't pay their full amount and when I paid them cash for my quoted price they refused to give me a receipt. I will never never recommend this company to anyone after this experience.

This mover was recommended by a friend - as well as on this site (homestars.com) - I was not disappointed. They arrived early and began working right away. The guys were professional AND friendly. My house contents (plus BBQ & other outdoor items) were moved quickly and safely to my new home. I highly recommended them!

We used these guys when going from a 2-bedroom apartment to a 3-bedroom house. They were professional, efficient and pleasant to deal with. Finding movers was the most stressful part of the moving process, but Joe the Mover made it the best experience ever!

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. We booked Joe the Mover because our friends recommended them. They were courteous from day one over the phone. We were promised two movers and a truck and that is what we got on the day of the move. They actually came 15 minutes early and did an EXCELLENT job! Nothing was broken, they were extremely knowledgable and professional,every single item was placed in the indicated spot. They moved us from a two bedroom apartment to a three bedroom house in three hours - Highly recommended!

I booked these guys because they were priced right, friendly on the phone, and didn't charge extra for moving us out of a 3rd-floor walkup apartment.

On the phone I was told that I'd get 2 men and a truck. When they showed up the morning of the move, there were 3 men and a truck (no change in price). That made the move go faster, and saved us money in the end. All three of them were very professional and managed to move all our belongings in 5 hours without breaking a single thing. Highly recommended!!
