It does not happen very often that you meet the right person at the right time for the right purpose.
Well, it happened to us.
We bought an old house in Scarborough, that no one else really wanted.
We were lucky in that aspect, it was sold for a relatively good price.
We searched for a builder/ renovator for weeks.
Some came and showed us their opinions of when and how to design and build our new family home.
They all came to us with the same old concept , and we did not like any.
One day a relative showed up and suggested us to call Classicview.
He said this is a very trusted company, they can design it right for us.
Design they did!
We have got ourselves a three time bigger house, designed to our taste and built to our budget.
How can you ask for more?'

We met Omri from Classicview on their job site on Weston Rd one day.

Right at the first time, when Omri came to our house, we knew we were dealing with a very
knowledgeable and professional individual. Classic view has built us our dream- kitchen and a new master bedroom as an addition to our small house off Weston Rd. There are no words to describe our satisfaction and fulfillment experience with Classicview.

Please make sure : if you wish to build a house one day, call these guys. They are as good as it gets!

Omri was on time ,stayed on task and he was very honest and friendly. Omri kept the budget has we started with. I highly recommended him and his team. Overall he was honest and friendly.

Project scope:
New bedroom, walk-in closet and bathroom over the garage, extension to an existing bedroom, new skylights, new windows and front door, new flooring (2nd floor), new house exterior (stucco, lighting, roofing), few renovations in the house (bathroom, laundry room, entrance).

Review:
Omri is very nice, friendly man and most important he is professional who truly cares about the work. It was just great to deal with him on all stages of the project. His qualification is excellent and attitude is appealing. He is a pleasure to work with.

Pros:
1. Omri and his team are great to deal with, highly professional and committed to the work.
2. They did excellent job, were organized and on time.
3. The work was done on the agreed budget, reasonable prices.
4. They completed our project on time.
5. Omri orchestrated all the work, from design phase to the final stages (including paper work, plans, materials, inspections).
6. Last, but not the least: Omri is willing to listen to all ideas/requests and think out of the box.

Cons:
none

Conclusion:
I would highly recommend Omri and his team to anyone looking to hire construction contractor to design and build home addition.

I would strongly discourage anyone from using Classic View as a contractor on any project that you may be considering.

While Classic view appeared capable of delivering acceptable levels of craftsmanship they failed to deliver on multiple levels on my project including:
- Budget - always asking for more
- Chronically over promising and under delivering
- Ultimately walking of the site leaving it unfinished

If you do choose to proceed with CV I recommend at the very least you create a payment schedule that ensures they deliver a completed project as planned.

I had an addition put on my house by Classic View Home Renovations. They did a pretty good job. They were clean and on time. I like working with Omri, the owner. He’s a friendly guy. I’d give their work overall a 4.5 if halves were accepted.

We used Classic View Home Renovations to put in a new extension on our house. I just found them in a home magazine and called them up. They ended up doing a very good job. Both Omri, the owner, and Rem were good guys to work with. They weren’t on time all the time, but they were okay. They would usually come over and work for a bit and then be gone for a few days doing other jobs. It wasn’t a problem, though, and they were good overall.

We chose to use Classic View Home Renovations for some work we wanted done on the kitchen, a bedroom and the back of the house. They really did a good job with everything. My wife is so happy about it. And I was very impressed with the owner, Omri. He’s a very nice man and was great to work with. I’ve already recommended Classic View Home Renovations to my brother-in-law because they were so good.

My wife and I were very happy with the work, dedication to the job and overall experience with Omri and his team from Classic View. Omri is a terrific contractor and he truly cares about the work he does and ensuring that the final product exceeds your expectations. I have seen and heard of many horror stories of jobs taking a lot longer than expected and coming in well over the a agreed to budget so I was very apprehensive moving into this project. Omri and team were at my house 5 – 6 days a week for the entire length of the project which in turn reduced the expected time of the entire renovation and came in right on budget. Right on budget may not sound like a overly tough assignment until you recognize all the extra little things that were done because Omri thought it would look better, all done and never a mention of additional funds from us.

I believe that we got very lucky and found truly the best contractor in the GTA. We did a fairly large renovation and it was done better than I expected. It looks amazing and we could not be happier. I would highly recommend Omri and his team to anyone looking to hire a contractor. I have more work to do in the coming years and rest assured I will be using Classic View!

They were great! We had extensive work done on our home, two extensions were put in. They put a ground level addition and did some of the footings. The office was extended and our master bedroom above it was extended with a balcony. At the same time the other side of the house was excavated so we could put an extension onto our basement with a solarium above that. They did that with wooden beams and it’s beautiful! Everything was customized and it turned out beautifully. The work took a bit longer than we had expected but there were a few delays due to weather (they worked over winter) but the end result was well worth it. They were very easy to reach and were committed to the work. This was all done a few years ago and we haven’t had any problems since and have really enjoyed living in the space.
