The final product is great although the process wasn't ideal.

Two large storage items that were the instigation for the pantry closet, were not properly accounted for, and this was only realized upon installation when the closet doors would not close wit the bins in place! Very disappointing as closets are their business. I had to purchase additional shelving to make use of the two large unusable storage bin spaces. I didn't want to wait an additional two months to recalibrate the entire design of the closet. The design process was long and laborious and ultimately unsatisfactory for the pantry, but the linen and front hall closet were perfect. I wonder if the large error on the pantry would've been caught if she kept our 2nd appointment that she changed to a phone call instead.

However, in terms of the product itself, it is very good quality and the installation was excellent with friendly installers who worked quickly and efficiently and left my home in pristine condition. The scheduling and staff at the head office were also very friendly, professional and accommodating. I love the use of the two closets after several tweaks.

I should have run when the measuring and consultation took over 4 hours. The person measuring was professional and seemed to be listening. We were surprised by the cost but custom costs right, except we pick stock cabinets and a shaker door, a plain shaker door was custom? quality we had too projects done the master closet was to be a wood tone and the laundry room/pantry to match the existing cabinets. the bedroom is a straight line of cabinets with some open shelving. the laundry room was a prefab box with the door being shorter to have an open shelf at the bottom. In both cases the small swatch shown looked ok. the reality was very different, the wood grain cabinets look like the cheapest form of melamine that can be found. The open cabinet shelves in the laundry room / pantry are discoloured and look like very old stock that has been laying around forever. The door do not match the cabinet boxes or our existing cabinets, so are considering having the whole thing painted. They also extended there original install date by a month and then had to come back because the cabinet doors were not ready. I would steer clear of this company and chose a smaller cabinet company.

Had 70’s closets that needed to updated. Now they are not only practical for storage but add to the look I was looking for.

Great experience with Closets by Design right from the design phase to install. We had our walk-in closet done in the master. Almost 1/2 the price of the competition without sacrificing quality. Looks great, installers were quick, clean and professional. Love the laundry hampers!
We plan to have them back for a couple other projects and have already recommended them to other family members.

I have previously hired a competitor company to install closet organizers, but I called Closets By Design because of an ad I saw in a flyer. Pam came to take measurements and give design ideas. She was extremely professional, helped with style and design ideas, all while working on our budget. The installer was professional and courteous. It was the fastest install I’ve ever had in my life! It looks amazing and the quality is next level. We only did a small front hall closet, but it maximizes space and gives so much more storage than we had before. I already have other bedroom closets in mind and organization for my island.

Had a major change, was done efficiently and timely. Great installer was very nice and patient.

Designer was amazing and really helped me work through the space. I do feel it’s a little costly, but it’s difficult to find such custom storage and a product that looks like it belongs in the space. Overall very satisfied with my experience.

After having custom organizers installed in my previous home there was no turning back. You can store easily 3x the amount of items with the right configuration. When I moved into my new home I knew the closets would be a priority and was thrilled to find a local company. The design process was very thorough and helped me make the best use of the existing space and my budget. The communication around installation was also excellent. Finally the installer was on time, friendly, tidied up and did an excellent job. I highly recommend making this kind of investment in your home with Closets By Design.
