My Computer had been struck by some sort of the 'pretender 'virus, the kind you get when you click on a link warning 'you have a virus, click on this link to fix' . I lived with the slow downs and annoying pop ups for a week or two and then finally whenmy computer just wouldn't do anything I had to get it fixed. I went to my local big box store and was told it would be 129.99 just to have a look at it - more to fix it. That seemed like highway robbery so I took a chance and phoned the Geeks on the Way as I had seen their car around my neighborhood. They sent someone over within 2 -3 hours. The 'geek' was a laid off IT person , way overqualified to fix my small computer problem, but with 2 kids and wife and a mortgage that made him more than happy to have the work. It took about 20 minutesto restore my computer, during which time I got to pick his IT brain with all my questions. All in all, a painless, comparitively cheap option. I would reccommend
