I bought 2 ductless air conditioners from United Energy 3 years ago. From the very start one of the air conditioners leaked the water inside my house instead of outside. I called them and they said they would come out to fix the problem. They never showed up. I've called at least 100 times and left messages and none of them were ever returned. Surprise!! This March I get a call from Veronica, United Energy. She wants to schedule a maintenance call for cleaning!!! I said you've got to be kidding!! The unit has never worked and your company has never returned any of my calls. She said that she will send someone over to fix the problem. No one has yet showed up. I've been calling her since and the machine keeps coming up and no one returnes my calls again. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!!!

At the suggestion of a neighbor, I contacted United Energy to get a quote to replace my home central air conditioner, as well as to provide general normal and routine maintenance of both the air conditioner and furnace.

To say, United Energy provided absolutely excellent service is an understatement.

Their staff spent considerable time reviewing the various types of air conditioning units available. I agreed with their particular recommendation and have been completely satisfied. The installation was completed with competence, and diligence.

Around the same time, the furnace required attention and I brought this to their attention as their in the same industry. I talked with Jennifer and she educated me on furnace cleaning and maintenance. She took the time to explain exactly what they would be doing as well as explaining the tasks that I could do on a more routine basis.

I have been fully satisfied with all aspects of my relationship with United Energy. They have made my home more efficient and comfortable for all seasons.

United Energy was not the first HVAC Company I contacted. The first company I contacted was a no call for the first appointment and didn’t show up for the second appointment!
To get a feel for United Energy, I reviewed the reviews here on Homestars website and spent time at their website.
When I telephoned, the woman on the other end of the phone was very polite and friendly. I was directed to Eythan initially. We talked for a few minutes and at the first appointment was introduced to Michael. At my home we talked about what the job would encompass. They were off to a good start by arriving promptly when they said they would. I was given a fair estimate and was pleased to discuss money saving rebates. I liked that they did not pressure me. I didn’t feel as though they were out to just get a sale. I selected United Energy and they returned to take final measurements and for us to sign the paperwork.
We agreed on a start date and the installers arrived on time with everything they needed to get the job done. They removed our old systems and even walked me and the wife through all we needed to know about the work and maintenance.
We were very satisfied with the whole experience

New boiler and A/C purchased, everything with that was smooth. A few months later when the boiler stopped working in Feb, we were told to call Enbridge for faster repair and we would be reimbursed. We were suck with the $1000 repair bill and none of our thousands of phone calls have ever been answered or returned.

Our old furnace went bottoms up while we were getting quotes for a new system. Good thing for us, we’d already decided to go with United Energy. Samuel and Michael, from United Energy were an amazing sales team. We were introduced to Andy and Rob the technicians. It was a real pleasure dealing with them. United Energy is amazing at what they do.
Samuel and Michael took the necessary time to explain our options while taking into consideration the particulars of our house. They were attentive during the consultation and sales process as well as being amazing during and after the installation. Our experience is the same as happy clients before me. Samuel and Michael walked us through the entire process from our point of view without too much jargon that only they might understand.
Andy and Rob also did an excellent job. We appreciate the time they took during the install process and it shows, with the attention paid even to small details like drains and taping connections in the ducts. The technicians Andy and Rob were very friendly and polite. Even after a very long day's work, they took the time to explain the equipment and how it worked. They showed us how to set the equipment to our personal preferences. The time they took to clean up was amazing.
I'll be happy to recommend United Energy to any of my friends and neighbors. United Energy offers an exceptional level of service at a very competitive price.

I was doing some major renovations. I was on the lookout for a new high efficiency furnace and air conditioning for the house. In my opinion, United Energy’s team gave me the greatest price for products and services based on the prices I received from other companies offering the same things. United Energy’s salesman was polite and friendly. After reviewing the quotes I awarded the job to United Energy.
Since deciding to award my business to United Energy I did not regret it. The workmanship was superb. The time they took to finish the job was less then they originally said which was great. I am very happy with the product. When they finished the work, they cleaned up afterwards. Nice and Clean. If anyone needs Heating and Air for their home, give United Energy a call. I hired United Energy Heating and Air Conditioning to convert our home from oil to gas. Salesman Michael [last name removed--Ed] came to the house. He took his time and looked over everything relating to the HVAC system, he explained the work that needed to be done and provided an accurate estimate. When Steve and Rob finished the installation they walked me through the work and explained how the system works and they educated me on the maintenance requirements.
I requested additional equipment after work had already begun. They immediately acquired installed the equipment I requested. United Energy Heating and Air Conditioning was is the only company that I didn't have to clean up after. They cleaned up when they were finished the work. And they used drop cloths to contain the mess caused by disposal of the old oil furnace and tank.
I’ve had a few companies coming through my house lately, United Energy Heating and Air Conditioning Heating was the best. The only thing I could pick out would be that there was more noise than I expected. I highly recommend United Energy Heating and Air Conditioning.

Would you believe that our furnace died just before Christmas leaving us in an awful jam?! We called United Energy and got in touch with someone right away! United Energy dropped everything and came to our home with portable heaters. We were assured that our home would be warm for the holiday and that someone would be at our home as soon as possible.
United Energy took our emergency seriously as there was a crew working in our home in days! The installers treated our home with respect. They were polite, professional and fast. The pricing was just right and we were given the option to furnace since it was the holiday and we were able to differ payments to the New Year which had us breathing a sigh of relief.
United Energy was very helpful and educated us on rebates that were available. We got a High Efficiency Furnace for the price of a Mid Efficiency. We recommend United Energy and their team to anyone looking for assistance with heating needs in a pinch.

We made the decision to take advantage of the available rebates to replace our air conditioning since it was so old. We did get a few quotes and none of them fully met our need. We found Homestars and came across United Energy. We read the positive and negative reviews on this site.
We were impressed that United Energy’s Michael not only came promptly to do the quote, he was very knowledgeable and gave us information about cooling in terms of the size of our home. Having done some research ourselves, we knew some of this before but United Energy’s Michael was the only company that gave this kind of information.
We were pleased with United Energy’s quote and we set a start date. He even accompanied the installer that same Saturday and the installation went really well. They removed and disposed of the old equipment and left our home neat and tidy. They took us through the job once completed, explained how to use, and even went over the paperwork. They helped us with the rebate paperwork as well!
We’d definitely recommend United Energy and their team. We’ve decided to contact them with our heating needs in the future.
