We have got squirrels in new house because builder forgot to put shingles on all 4 corners of roof. Wood is exposed so squirrels chew the exposed wood and entered attic. I called the builder about that, first of all the person was very rude and he mentioned that its homeowners responsibility to deal with it. So I called Pest removal company to get the inspection done at my own expenses. And they gave quote to fix everything for approx $3600. They took pictures of exposed wood, and I sent that to builder. Its been more than month calling customer service to fix that but no luck. Its very frustrating experience. So I would suggest everyone to never buy a house from Townwood Homes.

They came to install rain drain but left a hole in the wall.
Rats are going through the hole.
We are calling them for more than a month,yet they can't fix it!

Very disappointed with new home experience. favorite experience when dealing with builder was them telling me a garbage bag could be used for a vapor barrier, when trying to deal with concerns, after they came to fix an unsealed vapor barrier section and used the pink bag the insulation comes in for the patch work as I tried to escalate this isn't resolved. They had an attractive first time home buyers plan, thought this would be a milestone in my life only to wish I didn't have to deal with it anymore, bought in 2015 and still finding poor workmanship to this day, missed out on the Tarion warranty as when the true problems started to come to life was too late, as they came to fix a window that wouldn't close ate in the first year, when the trim was removed there was no insulation in the jamb. Concerned started taking off trim to find none or minor pieces of fiberglass pink, just enough to look like it was done, finding ice build up in the jambs as it was winter. Builder does a great job in scaring you from asking to fix problems with a "oh well if we came to fix that we'd do this" with it being explained that it will most likely be a hack job and will possibly be fixed but look worse than before to get there... I should write more but I am just so defeated and it has taken enough from me already.

This company at first took some time to fix issues we found. However after a few calls, we got people to help us out. Have had home for over 10 years..good quality!
