It is a tale of two cities based on who you're dealing with at Tasco...
* the sales team on the front end
* or in my case the installation and after support/management team on the back end
Recently purchased several appliances to complete a kitchen reno from the Tasco location near Dufferin and Lawrence and Mary on the sales floor did a good job of taking care of us. Then we had to deal with an individual (third party) to install our appliances who I called 5 times over 6 hours and in the end, he did not install anything. Do not want to go into the gory details but Tasco did refund my money but I moved in on the weekend and had no appliances to feed my family.
Where I really have an issue was not the ineptness of the installer but the almost comical lack of support and accountability of the support team and the so called management team who were really pathetic. Have been told on two different occasions that two different mangers would call me to address my concerns which started back in August and we're in October and not one call to date… finally stopped holding my breath
Have had two people ask me about my experience with Tasco and told them, they can get a good deal on the appliances but strongly suggest they find someone else to install them and have no confidence to recommend anyone at the Tasco team if they did need to rely on them for anything else. Both have gone and purchased from other companies who are known to have both good sales and services support. Will not be going back or referring anyone to them and as they say, actions speak louder than words.
