Plumber 4 U

The guy came in ontime and found the problem immediately. He was able to fix everything in an hour time. He is very professional, polite and nice. I would recommand his service to anyone I know. A plus service.

Slapdash job that resulted in needless costs and necessitated a ceiling repair due to carelessness.
This is a plumber who seems to want to charge the maximum and at the same time to provide very little in the way of quality service.

Peter of Plumber 4 U quoted $1000 for a 3 piece rough-in bathroom job, came to the site and demanded $2000 for the job. Then at the end he had the gall to ask for another $75 for parts. He also placed the toilet flange too close to the wall and the wall had to be demolished and made thinner to fit the toilet. He also failed to install vents which did not pass the plumbing inspection. Extra costs including ripping up new ceramic floors for vents =$1000.00. DON'T TRUST HIM!

Plumber 4 U, or Peter, did the plumbing rough-in for our new house. It was poor workmanship, pipes not attached properly, some leaks, and in our powder room he even connected hot water to all the roughed in pipes, hot, cold vanity connections and the toilet. We asked for 3/4" pipe through the house to the second floor which he almost did, except he didn't replace the pipe to the hot water heater, leaving that the 1/2" pipe that was there.
At the end of the rough-in job I agreed to let him attach a few end points, 4 short simple jobs, and he ended up charging 18 hours labour for the job, far too expensive for some short projects that should have taken a single professional plumber maybe an hour per job. Finally, one of those jobs was installing the shower fixture, for which he didn't put in air cushions to eliminate some shreek in the pipes.

While I don't mean to be mean, I've so far had so many good trades, but this plumber, while a nice guy, wasn't particularly good as a plumber.
