Initially had a few problems but these seem to have been ironed out...just waiting on the corrections to take place...Consumers Choice obviously take their reputation seriously and have been most helpful dealing with my concerns...Im sure when the work is completed i will have no hesitation in recommending them...In dealing with Stan and Sab it becomes apparent that they only want whats best for the customer...Im sure my rating will change to a 10 once all the work is completed...

The sales person was extremely helpful. The installer was so quick and precise with his window work and wood cutting - I was quite impressed especially with the angle cuts on the window wood frames. Workmanship is clean and well done.

A professional organization that delivered as promised. We are very pleased with the work that was done.The clean up was very thorough, and this purchase has made a big difference in the appearance of our house.

I purchased an entrance door from Consumers Choice and their variety of options were unbelievable.They have professional installers that do an amazing job and their expectations to customers about timeframes were fulfilled.I am planning on doing windows next year and Consumers Choice will defenitely be the company I go with for that as well.

Jerry the chief installer and his crew were just great! very efficient, and quick work and willing to do a bit extra to make customers happy.
The salesman (Corman?) was knowledgeable and willing to work within budget allocations, making suggestions and change recommendations as we built the final install project items...even gave us time to think about the final quote with a "no rush, take your time" attitude.
The work was completed in an efficient manner and the surroundings were cleaned to satisfaction. There was a part missing for the front door install, and it required that they come back a couple of weeks later for the 15 min. fixup, but they did not take the final payment cheque till ALL the work was completely done..!!

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get their home windows and doors done!!

Trusted the good reviews and gave this company a try. Turned out to be very regrettable. Extremely dissatisfied with quality of work and customer service. Unaccountable, unorganized, inefficient, rude, arrogant. Problems all the way and caused alot of grief. Tried my best to resolve issues but they were dismissive and unco-operative. I DO NOT recommend bringing your business to these people. Absolutely will not deal again.

These guys know windows...... had a lot of pushy salesmen come in and try to get you sign up that day...... these guys let you think about your decision and showed up on the day they said and finished the job in one day. Wow what a difference with my heating bill.... it has gone down about 30%. They also have a great special where they pay for the energy audit which I can use towards other projects in the house. Really glad I went with them..... competitively priced as well which always helps.

We met with the salesman in the first week of December and discussed how we needed to have the windows installed before Feb 1st, (the home renovation tax credit expiry date). He said it would not be a problem and that mid January was available. After countless calls on our part, and having received none from the company, we were informed that the mid January appointment could not be met. They claimed that the windows had still not arrived from the manufacturer and they could not provide an ETA. I eventually spoke with a manager and he did nothing for me. He just said they can invoice me as of December, however, CRA requires installation by Feb 1st. The bottom line is that they overbooked and couldn't deliver on the promise. It was very frustrating because when the salesman comes to your house and actively discusses the Home Reno Tax Credit and literally writes out the net cost after the rebates, I expect them to deliver before it expires.

Furthermore, the salesman also said they could install on a Saturday (which we needed because we work 9-6 weekdays), but when Consumers Choice called to book the appointment, they said they only do Saturdays if there’s bad weather during your weekday install date. So we had to take a vacation day for the install.

My advice would be to get everything the salesman promises in writing, on the contract. If you require a certain install deadline then make sure to write it down. The fine print on the contract says that anything not listed in writing and only discussed verbally is not part of the agreement.

When calling Consumers Choice I just found them very unprofessional. I would also leave messages and not get my calls returned or they would call my house and leave a message when I specifically asked them to call me at work.

The Windows do look good (triple glass). The installers were very pleasant and did a good job. Our installers were actually contracted out.

One last thing to note is that my Father had windows installed by Consumers Choice only 5 years ago. They are double glass. However, this winter they already have condensation on them (all 8 of them have it). Consumers Choice has a warranty on the windows but they want to charge him $100 just to come and look at the problem. The salesman never seemed to mention that to me when he spoke of the great warranty they offer.

job completed on schedule, installers were very competent and professional and did an excellent job. price of windows a little less than expected. the windows are of excellent quality and would recommend highly
