Location- Lot 6654 - 16 Melmar St - MPN16
We are still facing below 2 issues even after your one maintenance visit.
1. Air Conditioner is not working properly with full capacity.

2. Refrigerator is not working properly- all food and vegetables put in it are getting fungus.     (even we have tried to restarted the unit but problem is still there.)
Please advise when it will be fixed.

Purchased a Mattamy home, overall great experience. Home was completed on time and delivery experience was very professional. After care has been great with work being done on a timely manner. Several minor issues dealt with in a timely manner.

We bought our dream home from Mattamy and the whole deal went very sweet and we are very satisfied with this purchase.

Mattamy Homes has caused a great deal of stress to deal with. The craftsmanship and in some instances structural work of the home is below acceptable standards. They are very difficult to work with post-closing. Any hopes for fixes of deficiencies will be sub-par, delayed, or both, and homeowners must choose between poor fixes that they end up doing themselves or a protracted battle with Mattamy to get a reasonable fix.

Any new home will have its issues. That being said, we would choose a different builder in the future and would recommend others do so as well. If you are building with Mattamy, push back on any warrantied items until the fix is acceptable (and do not sign off until then).

We are a blended family and we were looking for a larger home. From the staff (Becky and Liz) in the show suite to the designer (Caitlyn) to the construction crew (Keith,Aaron and many more) our experience has been exceptional. There are always some bumps when building a home but the way MATTAMY has handled everything is above and beyond. They never once brushed off a concern (even if it was minor like paint dripped on the floor), they have been exceptional to communicate with, and the whole process just went smoothly. The team is kind, prompt, friendly, and I feel like we got great value for our money.

My partner and I were first time home buyers. The process of moving in and what to do when was made very easy through our Mattamy representative. You always hear scary stories about new builds and how things were forgotten or structural issues or appliances. Not our experience at all! Everything was done correctly minus a dent in one door which they replaced instantly. Weve been in our home now for almost 2 years and we absolutely love it. Ive recommended Mattamy to several people since purchasing. World class service!

I recently purchased my first home with Mattamy Homes in Richmond, Ottawa, and I am beyond thrilled with the entire experience. From start to finish, their service has been exemplary.

The sales team, especially Dionne and Colin, were instrumental in guiding us through the process and helping us make the best decisions for our new home. Their professionalism and expertise made what could have been a stressful experience enjoyable and seamless.

One standout aspect was the incredibly beautiful Design Center. The variety of finishing options available was impressive and allowed us to truly personalize our home to fit our style. While browsing, I felt that Luan could have given us a bit more time to explore without feeling rushed. It would have been great to have a more relaxed pace to ensure we made all the choices we wanted without the pressure.

Tom, the site superintendent, was fantastic during our frame walk. His thoroughness and attention to detail made us feel confident in the quality of our new home. Hany, the handyman, took great care of our PDI items, and his work was top-notch. Currently, Holly is assisting us, and her support continues to be outstanding.

Overall, Mattamy Homes has delivered excellent customer service and top-quality construction. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new home. Thank you, Mattamy Homes, for making our first home-buying experience so positive!

I am satisfied at the excellent job that was done and the attention to details

0 stars. Have buyers remorse for even having considered doing business with Mattamy. The quality is poor, at best. Mattamy does not follow through with promises made to buyers, do band-aid repairs to appease, believe everything is one of the following: 1) aesthetics only, 2) within industry standards or 3) house is settling. In the three months since signing for the home. I have spent this entire time working to get all the items noted at first walkthrough, corrected. Paint appears to have been done by incompetent painters, tile company is terrible, as quality of the work is mediocre at best, plumbers are so bad they had to get replaced, drywall experts are anything but, leaving the home with nothing but tape and/or mud lines that are visible throughout. Left paint stains on tiles, in carpets, on hardware, etc. paint used was PRIMER diluted with minimal flat white paint. Baseboards not caulked at joining spots. Door gets painted in hinges leaving the original primed wood showing when door is opened and if you change locks, you will see all the unpainted areas. Carpet layers have been out 3 times and have yet to get the carpet completed correctly, with areas of air bubbles remaining in the carpet to date. Having come from construction families on both sides of the family, this is the absolutely worst homes you can find. Mattamy claims they take complaints personal but the regional leadership deserve to be fired for incompetence & are worthless in all aspects. They have zero control of the vendors used across the trades. If we had to do it again, we absolutely would walk away. As dual veterans, fully disabled, to be treated like trash by this home builder is a slap
In the face & fact that they could care less if the work is done correctly, let alone completed, means a lot. Of the current owners, ~80% got independent inspectors and almost 100% of those owners are currently in dispute with warranty for repairs. Never, EVER will buy from Mattamy. BUYER BEWARE!
