What started off as a simple quest to open up a wall separating a kitchen from an eating area turned into a year-long undertaking involving major renovations to a kitchen, dining room, living room, powder room, laundry room, vestibule and hallway. Mr. Roberts and his crew demolished our very dated kitchen and created a modern, open and incredibly functional cooking, eating and living space - an architectural jewel with its new cathedral ceiling! Additional extensive carpentry work (Mitch is incredible!), porcelain tiling (Chris is also incredible!) and painting (R & R are the best painters around!) transformed the ground floor of our residence into a dream home. And this was only Phase I of our renovation plans. Mr. Roberts has had his crew back several more times for exterior painting of our entire house and some preliminary work on our second-floor renovations which are still in the planning phase.
Mr. Roberts has proven himself a true professional throughout. He always made himself available by phone to discuss any idea or concern or to meet in person at the project to add his personal touch. In my experience very few individuals or contractors in the renovation business provide the level of expertise and concern consistently shown by Mr. Roberts. He conducted himself as if he were renovating his own residence - something to be proud of for a lifetime, and not just another impersonal project to be completed and forgotten.

After purchasing a house this summer, my wife and I decided to do some renovations. Little did we know that the problems with the house would be overwhelming. Thankfully, Jeff and his crew were able to solve each problem as it arose and turned a potential disaster into a wonderful home. Especially helpful was the fact that throughout the renovation Jeff was always available by phone and returned calls promptly. This did a great deal to ease our concerns and help us through the project. Thank you to Jeff, Mitch, and Todd for all the effort and an extra special thank you to Mitch for the dedication and conscientious workmanship throughout the entire four month project.

While our 25 year old house was in a state of good repair, most of the bathrooms facilities were outdated. Our guest bathroom was rejeuvenated with new tiles, a deep soaker tub, efficient toilet and upscale vanity. New lighting provided an entire new look to the room. Our ensuite, which had never been renovated was completely redone. From a new heated floor, custom glass enclosed shower, large travertine tiles, toilet and pedestal sink all made this the spa of our dreams. Solux solar tubes and pocket doors, also added to the walk in closet, and a sound system added the finishing touches.
Completing these renovations, we had the upper and lower hallway and kitchen repainted.
Overall, our 3 1/2 month renovation was a tremendous success and made easier by the quality, reliabilty and dependability of Jeff's workforce.

Jeff and his team constructed a one storey addition to our home which included a large kitchen,family room,small office and bathroom.This space was well planned with two skylights,many windows,oak hardwood flooring and a gas fireplace.Glass pocket doors connect the new addition to our original home.We enjoy this spacious and bright area which overlooks our garden.
Jeff came to our home daily to ensure that all aspects of the work being done met his high standards.He kept us updated and involved in all aspects of the renovation.His willingness to explain in detail and answer our questions was most helpful in decreasing the stress associated with a renovation.Jeff,s team were courteous,respectful and considerate in our home.

For some time I've wanted to enclose my front porch to allow for both a protected entry and a usable (i.e. big) coat closet.

Jeff and his team were able to provide me with exactly what I envisioned and then some.

The exterior has been finished, meticulously with Cultured Stone and looks like it's original to the house. The interior has been completed with an eye to detail, including crown moldings and beautiful baseboards. The closet is lined in cedar panels and has wonderful shelving space.

The door and window are terrific.

The original porch overhang was saved and moved to cover the rear door, providing much needed protection as you step unto that porch.

There is some cosmetic work yet to be completed but has to wait for spring and more stable weather.

Overall, a tremendous job!

I have a 70 year old house that had 70 year old windows!

Jeff replaced both bedroom windows and had full glass storms custom made to cover my original leaded glass windows in the living and dining rooms. The interior window frames and sills were completely rebuilt to perfectly match the originals and the exterior frame on the dining room bay window also had to be completely rebuilt.

The roof overhang (A frame style construction) was in very bad condition but could not be replaced without affecting the roof so it was laminated perfectly with large planks.

The house was pointed where needed and new eaves and down pipes were installed.

Because the interior walls are plaster/lath, one bedroom wall was unavoidably damaged during removal of the old window; Jeff's painters were able to perfectly match the paint even though the colour was 17 years old!

The exterior painting is terrific and really brightens the house's appearance.

Jeff has recently completed work for other family members and he is already scheduled to complete project #5 for me in the spring!

Jeff and his team did an excellent job. We did a total "gut" of an old kitchen. We had a very tight space to work with and he worked with us upfront to make sure that the design met our needs, introducing some new ideas and suggestions that improved the design. Jeff is reliable; he showed up when he said he would, stayed on schedule and on budget. We appreciated the fact that he kept us informed throughout. He did not hesitate to correct any issues that required his attention and cares about his client's satisfaction and the quality of his work. We would certainly recommend Jeff's company.

We partially finished our basement in June/July 2008. Jeff and his crew were exceptional because they paid attention to the whole picture and was very detailed. Our son, called him Jeff the builder because he loved the show 'Bob the builder'. His son even came out to finish the job with a broken arm and Jeff even appeared at our house on a national holiday. That is dedication. Thank you so much Jeff and team. We are really enjoying it. Will call you when we have the funds for the next project.

We jokingly comment to visitors that our project began as an idea to replace carpet with tile on our main floor and just simply grew.

Looking back on what was a 12 week project, I do not believe we could have chosen a better contractor. Every detail of the project was executed with a conscientious commitment to ensuring we were happy with the results. Jeff (and Mitch)on many occasions would say, "If you are not 100% happy with the result now, you won't be happy with it later. So let’s make sure you are happy with it now." My wife will attest to the fact that I obsess about the details, but Team Roberts attended to details I hadn't even considered!

Our kitchen is a dream! We absolutely love working in it and it is our family gathering place. My older daughter can work at her laptop at a neat little work area within the kitchen (Jeff's idea) while still interacting with her mother. Mom also has her own place for staying organized. The workmanship of the cabinetry is flawless. All measurements made during the design stage were executed correctly and everything was delivered as scheduled and fit perfectly.

The new wall opening from family room to kitchen has allowed the back of the house to become a complete entertaining area. The revitalized fireplace adds warmth and charm.

The updated dining room with new wainscoting and floors is a pleasure to host more formal dining.

I truly believe that there is no job Jeff and his team can't handle. If you are searching for a reliable, conscientious contractor, you need look no further. Jeff is your man!
