Solar Blanket

Had some issues regarding our solar blanket for our pool, took a little while to resolve, but the end resolution was better than expected and a great boost for customer satisfaction from the Oshawa branch.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Train their front line workers on proper etiquette to deal with customers. A different approach may have resolved this situation, not treating the customer as a criminal.

Solar Blanket

Have dealt with the Pickering store for 16yrs, walk in pay for products, I did not shop around or barter. Bought a 10yr solar blanket that only lasting 2-3yrs, When found out how little the pro-rating was, decided to buy the 5yr cover straight up, no discount. Did not look at the bill at the time as I always just payed. When the cover was defective, went in got a new fully covered replacement. Came home with cover and then went to work, received a phone call that cover was not covered, apparently they put the pro-rated discount on the new cover, why would I go for a 5yr when I started out with a 10yr if I wanted to use the warranty?, By the time I got home after I told them I would return the cover to the store and discuss issues, I had 3-4 messages on my home phone. The final message stated that they have now put the money owing on my account (I have never owed anyone money, always payed up front) and then if not payed within 30 days would go to collection (still have that message), now from an upfront, paying customer to being treated like a criminal, good bye. Dropped cover off in unopened package and my business with them is over.
