New Windows

We researched/met with a number of companies and looked at vinyl, wood and fibreglass windows. Inline Fiberglass took a lot of time to talk to us and explain about the benefits of their product. The sales rep was very knowledgeable as were the installers. The only reason that they did not receive a 5 out of 5 for satisfaction was due to delays with the installation date. Once it was brought to the attention of the Regional Sales Manager, the installation date was firmed up. Since we have had the 22 new windows, the change is remarkable. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the product and installation and would recommend them highly.

All Windows Replaced

I purchased windows from Inline Fiberglass and their sales rep explained everything that I would be getting. In fact, he gave me the exact price so I knew upfront how much it would cost.

The quality of the work that was done was excellent so I have no complaints whatsoever. The windows are very high in quality and as a result I would strongly recommend Inline to anyone who's looking to replace their windows.

Windows and Doors

We ordered windows and doors from In Line in May 2015. We are previous customers of InLine -- all of our homes windows. Our experience has been that InLine provides an excellent quality product, good prices, sales person was receptive and helpful and installers top notch. We have just learned of the 4th delay for our window install, windows not ready at plant -- our house has been open to the elements for almost a month. Finally installed windows and doors. Great job by the installers as always. Windows and doors are very quality and well made. The profound failure of this company meet its window manufacturing deadlines, makes any kind of business relationship with them unworkable and difficult. A real shame because their product is excellent.

Full renovation/rebuild

Our project is a complete renovation (essentially a new rebuild) in the Eastern Townships in Québec. The windows arrived in late August 2015. It comprised a total of 21 custom openings of various sizes and designs which included 3 patio doors and 2 double centre opening patio doors.
While we were extremely well taken care of by the Québec distributer Glass vision - very professional - and very much like the windows and patio doors, we were not impressed - in fact very disappointed by the delivery. It took almost 3 months to receive the order. Even not counting the delay caused by the 2 week shutdown of the Québec construction industry, it took over 2 months causing delays in our construction timetable. However, what was most upsetting was the shoddy delivery and one of the units arriving broken and dented.
The order was to be shipped from Inline directly to us, but that did not happen. The order was transferred to another truck in Drumondville (considerably out of the way). When we received the delivery most of the units were not wrapped, some had cardboard corners that had fallen off and as mentioned one unit was completely broken. A number of the other units not being properly wrapped have small marks and scratches on them and we will have to ask Inline how to deal with that.
A complete new replacement unit for the broken window was very quickly and efficiently reordered for us by Glass Vision on a rush order , but we have no delivery date which as you can imagine causes problems for our contractor and for us.
As an added issue, Inline required that the entire ballance be paid in order to release the order for shipping to us. Furthermore since we are in Quebec and ordered through the Québec distributer we could not pay with Visa which we would have preferred and which the Inline site allowed, and instead could only pay a small minimal amount by Visa and the rest had to be paid in advance by cheque.
We were assured we would receive the replacement window, but we have no idea when. All in all we love the windows and patio doors, but the long delay, delivery issues and full payment in advance are a real problem in our opinion.

Company Response

Dear SMberlin

First and foremost we would like to thank you for choosing Inline and our distributor Glass Vision. We will try and respond as best as we can to you but there are certain topics we cannot address as they are between our two companies.

When Inline calls in transportation to ship product, the transportation co. is informed of two things, (1) no cross docking allowed (2) truck must be equipped with air ride. In this case Glass Vision selected to call in their own transportation co. and cross docking occurred. This is the single most reason for transportation damage and is beyond our control.

We certainly regret the issues that you had but you should be reassured that the product will stand the test of time.

Again we thank you again for selecting Inline.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable representative. Mr. Rose was always available and went out of his way to ensure that we understood the product and the many benefits of fiberglass windows. He also gave sound suggestions to enhance what will be our final look of our house. Very reasonable pricing and worth your time to call.

Windows

We had a great experience from start to finish. Great quality and service with a reasonable price for a fantastic product. They took the time to not only give a tour of the facility but also to follow up after install on our satisfaction of the windows. We had over 20' wall of windows made and installed by Inline from floor to ceiling which made a huge impact on upgrading the look of our home.

5 windows

We got 5 Windows installed by Inline. It took a full year from the time a salesperson came to our house to give a quote to the time the windows were actually installed. Delay after delay was caused by simply not getting back to us in a timely fashion When we finally ordered, it took another 4 months and several phone calls to actually get the windows installed. Then, the company made a mistake and installed frosted glass in one of the bedrooms, and it took two more visits to make it right because they cracked the glass on one of the panes when they came to replace it! The only reason we stuck with this company is because fibreglass windows are more durable and environmentally friendly then other options. The window quality is quite good, so we're not giving this company a failing grade. However, the service is very poor.

Dear True Green

We appreciate the time you took to write your review about Inline Fiberglass. We even more appreciate the compliment regarding the quality of the window which we are known for.

I am one of the Senior Managers at Inline and this review was brought to my attention and I felt it was my duty to address it. When I first read the review I was in shock and dismay as I could not believe this had taken place. I immediately gathered every member of the company that was involved and reviewed all the information regarding this which are as follows:

The client and an Inline Sales Representative began exchanging emails for approximately two months. After that point, they ceased and no emails were exchanged for 6 months. After a 6 month period the emails returned and were exchanged for approximately 1 month before the windows were ordered. The production of the windows were just over our regular lead time which also happened over our holiday shut down. Once the windows were ready the client advised Inline that they wanted to schedule the installation a month later to fit their schedule. When the windows were installed, it is true that a wrong piece of glass was installed into one of their windows. Our service team returned 9 days later to replace the glass and accidentally cracked in which they returned 4 days later to replace it.

It is true that they entire process took over a year but it is not fair to insinuate that it was Inline's fault. The ordering process took over 8 months in which Inline was not in control of. We certainly apologize and fully take responsibility for the inconvenience of supplying the wrong glass and the additional remedial work that followed. This is not typical and we wish that this had gone flawlessly as is usually the case. We appreciate feedback and will continue to improve until we achieve perfection. Thank you for selecting Inline and we hope you enjoy your windows for a very long time.

Thank you for taking the time to read my response.

Inline Management.

Choice of the Informed

We were searching for fiberglass windows due to the exposure to high humidity. Some of the most important criteria was warranty, finish, performance and price. This immediately eliminated all of the smaller fiberglass companies. We wanted to ensure that firstly the company would be around in case we ever had issues and secondly they would actually do the work if need be. We did our due diligence and compared performance versus price. This all lead us to Inline. We spoke with them and we're even more assured that they used a well known coating supplier and they were a certified applicator of applying coating. Spending a large sum of money for a product with a inferior paint would not help us if a problem arose. They also discussed glass type and various options but chose a standard color. The ordering was quite easy and the product arrived on time. They even included some extra's which was a surprise. Our installers praised the quality commented that the windows were built like trucks. Nevertheless everything went in as they should and we are extremely happy that we made the correct decision. Now we have the most energy efficient windows on the block. Gladly recommend them.
