It was obvious from the moment that Ken set foot in the door that he knew what he was talking about. His quote was thorough and spot on. Our many questions were answered fully and honestly. The team,(7 in all)started and finished bang on time. Each day they took the time to update us on progress and explain what was going on. The new circuit board is a thing of beauty - exceptionally neat and clearly layed out and labelled. We would absolutely recommend Ken and his team to anyone, they did a first class job. Subsequently we have had other trades through and they have even taken Ken's card because they were that impressed by the work! Thank you Ken, Donald, Norma-Jean and the team.

I have since used Ken and his team for my kitchen and bathroom reno and have had similar results. They were quick, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and his hard-working team.

This job involved the removal of all knob and tube and the complete rewiring of the house incuding a new panel. Ken Howard is first of all fully licenced (unlike some who are reviewed on Homestars)and a member of the ACP. I could not be happier with his performance and that of his helpful staff. Unlike others from whom I got quotes, Ken did a review of every circuit in our home and his estimate reflected this review indicating exactly what would be done. Some other estimates were the "best case" scenario (ie the cost could be much higher once they began)and included little detail. Ken was very courteous and helpful and took his time in suggesting things such as the location of new outlets and ceiling fixtures where none had existed. We not only removed the knob and tube wiring but removed the ceiling in the living/dining rooms. Ken's price to install potlights in the new ceiling was very competitive. His staff were a happy, friendly, competent, helpful bunch who completed all this work in 3 days exactly as scheduled. Once our renovation was complete they returned to install trim plates and to correct any problems we had. Myself and my wife found it a pleasure to do business with Ken and his staff and cannot recommend him more highly

Complete rewire (remove all remaining knob and tube, new box, additional outlets etc...). Workers did a great job, even with unexpected hurdles once the walls were open. They worked overtime to finish as much on time as possible. Would recommend to anyone.

What a great team! Ken and all his staff were so considerate of us and our home we can't say enough about their service.
When we requested additional work above the original quote for knob & tube removal they happily agreed and worked it into their demanding schedule and did so for a very reasonable additional price. They arrived on time and finished the majority of the work right on schedule. The only delays were caused by me (the homeowner) not completing my other renovation work in time. Despite having to return on several occasions due to my delays there were no additional charges and no complaints. Great service!

HowieCo Electric is a professional, courteous, prompt and efficient electrician. Kept to his quote and even did some extra work, free of charge.
I had a major renovation that my general contractor made a complete mess of. HowieCo was the only decent subcontractor of the lot.
