Gem Windows and Doors

The installers showed up promptly, did efficient detailed work with a minimum of disruption. They were neat and tidy, with careful finishing, taking all garbage with them, leaving the yard and the room inside as it was. The windows are a great improvement and I'm looking forward to another project next year. This is my second project with Gem.

Gem windows was great! From a wonderful experience with our salesman Dave..He took the patience in explaining our different options and went the extra mile on a number of occassions.
Our installers (Frank and his crew) were respectful of our home and did a fantastic job. Our house has undergone a make-over and are so happy with the product Gem sells, their service and the installers.

the job was really professionally done. installation was completed and very clean. both workers are very friendly and accomodating. all the materials were in excellent shape. and also the give a complete instruction on how the patio door operates.

It's been 8 months and all they did was pocket my deposit of $2825.00. The measurer was completely incompetant. I had to help him do the job or the meausrements would be wrong. His girlfriend came along with him to help him measure. I have demanded my deposit back for the past 3 months and all they have done is laugh at me. I now must take them to court to get my deposit back. The stress and hassle is unbelievable. I feel like I have been set up and robbed. It is absurd how they have blatantly conned me when I tell people I know they are shocked. Please call me if you don't believe me. Peter Besler 416-594-2257

Gem Windows followed through promptly with requests. The installation of our door was done quickly and effectively. Returning phone calls promptly is an area where the company could improve their service as we had several occasions when we had to wait for a few days for a reply to a query. Otherwise, we were very satisfied with Gem.

Excellent company. I used their services also in the fall of 2009 for the installation of basement windows. They were professional, very clean and informative workers. I found the quality to be excellent and the cost was comparative if not less than other suppliers. Very pleased with this year and last years services by Gem Windows and Doors.

Had to argue with the younger polish guy regarding taking his shoe off before going upstairs. It's their safety shoe but I told him his shoes are so dirty. That's the time he went out to get the white cloth and lay it on the stairs and carpet
My family walks barefoot on the carpet upstairs and its hard for me to clean the entire upstairs if you know what I mean.
But with regards to doing their job their ok.
