WARNING about GEM . Normally i wouldn't write something like this but. I had all the windows and doors installed in my home replaced by Gem windows. I was given a lifetime warranty on the windows and doors. Recently i have tried multiple times to have some warranty work done on broken hardware. I have made multiple calls and was even given an email address to send a request to. With the phone calls i was told they were too busy to do any warranty work. The email went unanswered. It has been 2 months of calls and waiting. This is why i want people to beware of this company if they are hoping them to counting on any type of response to a warranty issue. Don't count on it. This is not an acceptable form of customer service in any business.

Please find our response to the above review. Since it's posting on August 25th 2013 we have made every attempt to identify the customer so that we can respond to their concerns. We require additional information to be able to clearly identify this specific customer. We would like to very much speak to "Brian in Toronto" because we have a Service Care Department and an Installations Care department, and regular surveys are conducted to ensure complete customer satisfaction. To date, we find no record of a report which can be related back to the customer, "Brian" therefore, we are asking for Home Stars' cooperation and have yet to hear from the writer.
