Express Rooter Plumbing

I called Express Rooter to come about a stain on the ceiling below my toilet and smelled when I flushed it. The toilet was new last summer. The plumbers who renovated my bathroom were clearly inexperienced. They said it was not their problem when contacted. Another plumber wanted over $1000 to investigate. Vlad came and decided to take the toilet up to see. He found that it had not been done properly. He fixed it and replaced an old valve. He also checked another toilet for me that had also been done during the renovation. He explained things to me, was reliable and reasonable. I will call them again. I had a new dishwasher and no room for it. I went to Home Star website to find a professional plumber to do the job. I saw the Express Rooter with a good ratings on it. So I decided to contact them and explain my problem, new dishwasher with no existing space. After an hour someone came and gave me a free estimate of what needed to be done. After a couple of calls from other plumbers I decided to hire Rob from Express Rooter for his fair price and clearly explanation of the job. He came in the morning early than the time schedule they gave, but I am happy about it at least my kids were still in bed. He’s very professional and respectful person, he wore uniform, wore shoe covers, cleaned up the mess after. One more thing, he gave a preventive advice for things he saw at my house that might cause problem in the future. I am happy for it and he did a very good job. Thank you Rob and Express Rooter and keep up the good work. Highly recommend to anyone.

Drain problems are a horrible experience. When I did the laundry, all my carpets were flooded with sewage and waste. Express Rooter was recommended by my friends. So I had them come and they fixed my drains. I must say they did an amazing job, very good company to deal with! This company is definitely a must use!!

We had sewage backup into our laundry room and basement. Bob was here an hour after calling and had a crew working all day on a new drain the very next day. With a complimentary camera scope, Bob found that roots of a removed city tree caused the problem and had a crew working to solve the problem all day on a Saturday. The gentlemen were very kind, hardworking. Excellent service.

Our house main shut off valve was old, leaking, and needed to be replaced. Vladimir arrived, was friendly and introduced himself. Told me the cost before hand, and I was thrilled with the quote. Things got complicated as we have the water main in our house that shuts off water to six more houses down our townhouse block. After we shut down the main, the water didn't seem to want to stop back flowing from other houses. We had to go to neighbors and open their outside garden hose faucets. All together it took about an hour to 90 minutes to get the water to stop dripping back so that the weld could be made. Everything is perfect now, and I'm happy to have a dry floor again!!

My overall experience with this company exceeded my expectations above and beyond! I had a problem with water leaking in a rental property.After trying to figure it out and failing, I called Express Rooter and I was impressed with how helpful everyone was. The office staff were friendly when they took my info, then I had to call back to verify my contact details and I think it was Melissa I spoke to and again she was friendly and helpful. I get a phone call telling me someone is on the way. Rob called to let me know no one was at home, rather than just leave as often trades people do. Then relief as he assures me the problem has been fixed and why it occurred with yet again a pleasant manner. We were away at our cottage, when we got the call from a neighbor to say our there was a flood in our basement. We had a big leak in a pipe under our sink and it filled our basement with 7 inches of water. A gentleman named Vlad arrived and was very polite and courteous. Our kitchen sink was clogged and nothing would clear it. Not even plunging would fix it. The first great thing about Express rooter was the informative communication from their office staff. They indicated that a technician would be available between 12-2pm to come by and look at the issue and provide a free estimate and fix it as well if I wanted to proceed. The receptionist indicated they would call when the technician was on his way. Without a doubt, a call came in around 12:30pm and Rob was on my door around 12:40pm. Nice guy who looked at the issue and provided an estimate. About an hour later the issue was fixed, he explained what he did, and provided suggestions on ways to avoid future issues. Without an ounce of stress, I now have a draining kitchen sink about 3-hours from my first call to Express Rooter. And there was no premium cost for the service being an emergency or a standard appointment. Doesn’t get better than that. Thanks again.

In October I had a floor drain installed in my furnace room. Bob took the extra time to ensure the drain was where he thought it would be and of course, he was right! This ensured no extra digging and kept costs to a minimum – which were reasonable because I did have more than one quote. Using detailed description, he explained to me exactly what was involved. Extra care was taken to keep the area leading to the furnace room protected and all the work area was neatly cleaned upon completion. I also appreciated use of the camera a second time to check on the condition of all pipes involved. Excellent work!
