Last year October I called Exclusive alarm to come to certify the alarm is working as per fire department requested.(fire alarm went on during the night, tenant called the fire department). Technician came, checked the alarm and it was working at the beginning. Then he took it apart and part of the plastic of the alarm broken off. He said is broken now, cannot be used anymore. He told me he can go to his truck and see if he can find another smoke detector to replace. So I agreed because I need that certification for the fire department. This year, the new smoke detector went on alarm at least 3 times, fire truck came. Fire inspector request to install the alarm and has to be working 24/7. I installed, but after 5 mins, alarm went on again. I called Exclusive Alarm and I was told by them it should not only one alarm went on because they are wire together. Tecnician came yesterday, and found out the one that they installed is not compactable with the existing one. They have to change the other 2 so that they can work properly. So I agreed, what can I do at this point. They tested the 3 and they work fine. I signed the work that they did. Today, I filed the paper away I releaized they charged 3 smoke detectors. I called the company to clarify that only 2 that needs to change so that they can be compactably. The technician called me back and told me the "old" was corroded at the plug area. Two days ago, when I plug the "old" one, I did not see any corrosion in the plug area because I examin it before I plug it in. The tecnician said if I don't like it I can called somebody else. I told him that you guys only interest in grabing the money.
