new heating & cooling equipment

I met with Steve in my home and we reviewed many options. In the end I decided to take advantage of their rental plan - tankless water heater, high efficiency furnace, humidifier and air conditioner. The installation crew were efficient and professional. The work was done in a few hours & my rental water heater was returned to Enbridge & my old air conditioner was removed from my yard. They also provided the name of a service to insulate my attic & I received a discount. Sent me an Energy Engineer to audit for efficiency & I received all of the rebates when the work was done. They paid the fee for the inspections. Referred friends & received a reward. Highly recommend Enwise.

New furnace and hot water heater and attic insulation and home audit

My furnace was located in a tough spot. Mitch the head honcho supervisor showed up at the pre inspection with Steve the sales guy.
Mitch then came on the day of installation and oversaw the entire install to make sure it went according to plan
all in all it was a great experience and I would recommend Steve and enwise in the future

Furnace, air conditioner, tankless water heater, insulation

Steven was very helpful in explaining the various equipment and what was needed for our house. After an energy audit was completed, we had insulation instaled and Steven arranged for the instalition. The work was carried out quickly by a very knowledgeable and polite crew. There was no mess and the whole instalation was cpmplted in less than one day. I was given a complete review of the operation and care of the equipment and each piece was carefully checked before they left. Steven was present for part of the work to make sure there were no problems. I have recommended Enwise to several of my friends.

Audit and Furnace replacement

I got my furnace replaced through Enwise recently and was impressed by the level of profesionallism and quality of work done. The process was laid out by the sales REP and everything was setup including audit to the install right away. I was without heat as my furnace stopped working for me and they came in and did everything within 24 hours. Excellent service. I have since recommended them to my family memeber and friends.

high energy furnace

to put in new furnace they said I had to have new hot water heater ... charge twice as much as Direct Energy (they did this to senile man in Hyde Park) Did not have coring drill ... only small bits which broke
wanted to take down ceiling etc. etc. etc.
Am told they use the $ from hot water rentals as a holding company.
CLOSE CALL. AtlasCare has put in new furnace .... no problems.

Home Energy Audit and New Furnace

I used Enwise for an audit and furnace upgrade. The audit was pretty good, but the guy was a little pushy on the sales side when it came to looking at my furnace options. I got the feeling he would have said anything to get the sale, including that my new furnace would be much quieter than the old one. Guess what, it was much louder.

Acadia heat pump, tankless hot water heater

Company came back and installed additional cold air return. Now my house is 17 degrees while the thermostat is set at 19. They are claiming it is an air flow (inadequate duct work) problem, but the heat pump is not providing enough heat to the heat exchanger. The air coming out my vents is COLD. One more part is on order and they claim there is nothing they can do if this doesn't work. I'm ready to have the whole system removed after more service calls than I can count.

The Acadia unit is not providing any useful diagnostic information and Hallowell (the manufactuer) has been of no help. I am beginning to feel like I'm about to be left out in the cold. Literally. My next step is on to The Star, or CTV consumer alert. I'll keep you all posted.

Replacement of the furnace and waterheater

On a recommendation form our dear neighbor we decided to buy our new furnace and water heater from EnWise. We purchased a 95% AFUE furtherance, and a tankless water heater. Baring an issue with our water shut off valve, the work went through smoothly. They provided us with all the recommendations, and walked us through everything they did. The work is exceptional, and I'm happy to know that I'll have a warmed home using far less natural gas and electricity.

Approximate cost of services:
$7,000.00
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Even though a tankless is more expensive and it will take time to recuperate the cost. I feel great about the reduction in emissions as compared to a traditional water heater.

Furnace, Air Conditioning & Tankless Water Heater

Steven the sales rep promised us a job well done in a professional matter. This job was to replace the furnace, the air conditioning and to install the tankless water heater. We had a few issues about the installation so we called our so called sales rep and left him several voice mails, he never returned our calls, sent him emails never replied either. So I called the office and a technician came to fix a few things that the installers didn't do properly the first time. I also inquired about the rebates and nobody called me back. I had to write an email on the comment box in their website, it was only then that someone wrote me back, and mail me the paper work to send to the Ontario Power Authority. I got a letter from this people saying that my claim was denied, that I should contact the contractor, so I did. This was a month ago and I'm still waiting. I keep on writing emails, because they don't even have the courtesy to keep me up to date on the status of my claim. I feel so frustrated with this situation and I know that they do not have any consideration or respect for their customers. I regret so much having to deal with this company.

Approximate cost of services:
$13,000.00
What could this company do to improve their services?
I guess be more reliable and considerate with their customers.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
There are a lot more companies doing this kind of business, so there are a lot of choices.
